HT Suspenders are wrong. Green pattern on lighter shade.
Shades are fine as was pointed out, they look to be a relfective, plastic/pleather type material.
However, the pattern is wrong. The 4 diamond blocks in the middle should come between the half diamonds along the sides, not connected to them.

Has HT even shipped out the DC 3rd wave V1 Jokers? Don't think so. Many dealers have it listed as shipping 2nd Qtr, so I don't know if this is such great form on the part of HT leaving a lot of Dealers and Buyers in the lurch by releasing this so soon.

Shades are wrong too as I mentioned before. Base color was lighter as I recall. Show me one screen cap where it was this (HT) color in TDK and I'll stand corrected...
and it was not a blue pattern on green. It was a green pattern on a lighter gray. Ok Sean, I see you posted that. So I was right. HT suspenders are wrong. Wrong colors, Wrong pattern. Guess we'll have to wait for V4.

No, they are wrong. Don't have the better pic on this computer, but they are green diamonds on a bluish back.
Don't care though. Will never see them.
I don't think there is one, I'm watching the scene right now and all the shots I'm catching have a strong white reflection look.

I wouldn't call it "cheated" it's just frustrating really. In a way we were milked. Fooled to believe that, by buying both the V1 and V2 Jokers, we would get the definitive "ultimate Joker". Hell you see that ad I might not be able to read it but the pictures show that much. They basically said here is what we have to give, this is our TDK line, four figures, two vehicles, enjoy. Then we get this.
With that said, there isn't anything wrong with this considering I was going to buy Cop Joker regardless, the extras are just an added bonus for a little bit more money to me. But I do understand how the "complainers" feel now. It is kind of depressing. These are 150 dollar items not small 8 dollar figures that we can pick up at retail. I'm more pissed at my fellow collectors than Hot Toys. People are basically straight up ripping the V1, stating it's crap and that "oh, imma gonna sell it". It wasn't crap a few months ago, it wasn't crap even a week ago.
I don't know. It's all a bunch of bull ^^^^. That said I'm still buying it but I can really see both points of the arguments here. Nobody, is right even the "hardcore collectors".
Can we atleast agree that medicoms attempt is the worst 1/6 figure yet? Would that be a good ground?

The movie has been out for how long now? they have all the screen snaps they possibly need, and still can't get the details right? no I'm not ^^^^^ing, no I'm not criticizing, no I'm not condemning... but it proves, if you rush something you make mistakes. Because it's rushing for making more money.

I thought most people already had the V1 already or bought it because they had a BR head. I want to buy just the clothes and a body somewhere since I think the two figures' costumes look identical.

You asked how bad v1 clothes are. This is the best what I could do with them:
I was looking at the Photo Thread earlier and with the BillyB shirt and tie it looks even more amazing. I forgot who, but that person did an awesome mod to the clothing and it looks really good.

that's what the ones on the HT figure look like to me.
My mistake, my eyes were fooling me into seeing blue diamonds.

I think parts of it were poorly done (aka crap). The tie and its pattern is probably the most inaccurate piece of the V1 to me, and hasn't even really been changed for this DX release (thank god for billyb). The coat's collars and colors bugged me enough not to display it with the figure. Ditto for the head sculpt - been waiting patiently for Les' masterpiece of a reworked sculpt, so haven't picked up the BR sculpt, and this DX one won't be on my ultimate joker (maybe if it had real hair)

And now, as long as they cancelled their Medicom Joker, they feel vindicated somewhat. I love Hot Toys, but IMO the v1 Joker sculpt was an atrocity. A lot of people thought Medi's was better compared to HT's first go around. Turns out it was crapola.
It was probably Snake Suckers. He had shown his the most with just the waist coat on, and the grey jacket cut with just the collars peeking out.
