It's not that the joker's hair was thin, but it was "puffy" and not that flat like on the dx. What i do like on the dx is the hair colour, though :)

The only time his hair looked "puffy" was when he first got into the police station's waiting room just before the interrogation scene. It looked unexceptionally bright green too.

Other than that, his hair is thin, flat and wet.

Not really

I don't think the hair comments are crazy, one thing I had hoped might be different with the DX hair that wasn't is the puffyness. It's a really nice head and certainly there are limits to what can be done with a figure, but I imagine you probably could achieve it.

The hair on the figure has a brushed, combed, almost gelled look that pretty much runs straight down the sides of his head, where Ledger, quite often, almost had like Darth Vader helmet look with the hair at his shoulders being flared out from his head, that was something that stood out to me in the movie, how big his head seemed because of the way his hair often looked.

Really good photo's there Plasmid. I'm sure that if I didn't know about the figure I would assume a couple of them were the real thing.

I think most of the time the shots in the movie are dark so his hair really does not stand out as much as in the studio shots with the lighting and white background. Also his head is never still! He is always moving so much that the hair just keeps bouncing in and out so again at times it would seem flat and at times it would not....
Again screen accuracy is really the last achievable goal but as mentioned this thing freaking rocks!! Even if you saw the movie couple of times like myself but do not use it to compare frame by frame you really could not tell in many cases that it is a toy! Is time going backwards or WHY IS IT STILL ANOTHER TWO WEEKS>????

This is my DX on a regular true type. The Cop J is on a narrow shoulder.

Wow, how'd I miss this pic the first time around? He looks great with a standard True Type! Is articulation hindered by the tighter fit? Now I wish I had a spare standard TT. Maybe I could replace one on another figure with the Narrow...

The thing that bothers me most is the color of the gloves, it's dark purple when it should be light purple.

Yeah, I'm not in love with the gloves either. They're a tad too dark and almost do not match with the coat.

Great pics guys and gals!

These are poor shots, but I am exhausted from work and no natural light now, but FINALLY, after customs released him from their grubby mitts, FINALLY.....

looks great bro and that jacket seems to be the perfect shade of purple. You have got to post some more pics when you can man

Hey snake, how is the DX head in person compared to the bank robber joker head?

Thanks man! I have the whole weekend to post proper pics in natural light and hopefully get my youtube video review up. I am quite happy with the purple in hand.

Took me over an hour to get both of them set up though. Phew! :monkey5

I prefer it a great deal more than the BR head. Only gripes are the red on the lips is too thin/faded and the PERS is REALLY TIGHT. Very nervous it will break, so going to leave it alone for the most part.

Is the BR head under that mask? If so, i think it's a waste to a great sculpt, you could put a regular tt head under and use the smiling joker for another joker (perhaps an interrogation one) :)

That's a great tip for someone to assemble one off Ebay without buying the expensive BR Joker head sculpt. You could use the head from the True Type under the mask. Who'd know?

I prefer it as is to be honest. :) I already have an interrogation one coming together and a nurse one. That makes 5 altogether. Another would be overkill.

So DX Joker came on the narrow body?

It does indeed.
