It's not just settings though, depends on how your lens handles close range focusing. The right lens can have 2 figures that close, focus on the face of the one in the background and blur out the foreground quite a bit. It's a mix of lens ability and camera settings, you can only change settings so much before the limits of the lens become a factor, and it doesn't help to have a certain lens unless you use the right settings with it. That's why I got into DSLR, full manual control over camera settings and swappable lenses.

i'm also using a DSLR, i just dont really know squat about the functions :lol

i'm sure after some time i will learn more, but i haven't had it that long, so i'm still getting used to it. still though, it takes some really damn good pics! (now i need to learn how to really use it :lol)

This photo is so good that teetering on the edge of calling it edited. Well, it is edited....it has a border. :D

Yeah, even with my lack of photography expertise, (as others have said), I think you can get that from tweaking some settings in-camera, which I've been attempting with great difficulty on mine. bleh.

Thanks a lot guys. It make me happy.
Yes It's photoshopped :)
I'm so glad you like it!

being edited isn't a bad thing. You think movies look how they look these days without being edited to buggery in computers these days? They change lighting, brightness, colours... everything all done in computers. Even on scenes that look 'untouched'. Watch any 'making of' documentary and see the difference it makes when they colour correct something.... totally different :)

And yeah... that was a great photo! :rock

So, I heard some rumor about the DX Joker having a defect of a broken nose?
To my knowledge the issue was mentioned on facebook by someone. Since I am still (worriedly) waiting for mine I was just wondering, does anyone have any info on this? Could someone post a link to the details of this issue?
Or is this just a bad mannered rumor? At least I couldn't find any info on this myself...

I think that people here haven't any problems :D

I can now visually see what people are talking about with this. The face is so lovely and gritty that no pictures except neo's latest has captured. Everyone else's pics has smoothed out all the details. That it made it look quite meh...

It's more fun looking and admiring at this in the packaging than it is taking it out the box. It adds so much more quality visually when they add foam. That was the thing I loved about the Billie Jean figure.

I think what I'll do is swap bodies, v1 body to DX as some has done. Reason being when the v1 coat is off the shoulders it look's far too big/broad for the waistcoat. I'm going to switch pants so the suspenders can be seen on the BR head while the DX has the coat on. As it would be such a waste to display it with no suspenders seen. Even though you know they are there.

Nice pictures Neo!
.....
I couldn't resist and ordered another one from Toys2 (someone mentioned they are still looking?) as they still got some allocation left and the shipment is potentially arriving this week :)
I am just way deep into this addiction now and now suddenly it just makes more sense to buy a second one to get parts and sell the rest of it :p

Why light one figure with the stand when you can light both!

Heads Up , Guys.

Redfordfilms.com has this up for P.O. for 160 shipped. They did have a special weekend price of 135 shipped but I think it expired.

Anyway, 160 shipped is a great price. :D

They're having a 20% off of everything sale today, brings Joker down to $127 and free shipping.
