I started to contact BillyB back in Oct/Nov I think, he eventually got back to me and I paid him in December. He then contacted me in Jan that he is about to start making it and finally got it this week I can be patient and I understand with holidays and work, I have my lazy period as we speak and have not even made cases for myself lately even though I need to Just be patient but persistent and he will eventually get to you. It's totally worth it especially since his charge is really reasonable and the end result, print, cut, sewing etc is superb

I wouldn't worry, Billy's a bit intermittent with communication pre-order placement, but just press on, his work's worth it. He does like to work in batches too. When I contacted him for my shirt and tie set, he was on a break from the Joker stuff and just marked me down to contact again when he started back up, he did so and I got it.

Do you guys think acetone will eat through the plastic of the DX base? I'm trying to get rid of some slight super glue slop (from gluing the nameplate back on).

I would think so yeh. If you live with a girl ask her for some nail polish remover pads / bottle and that works great

It will, and badly. I remember seeing somebody do it on a F1 diecast spoiler which it eat through the plastic. It went rather gummy.

You'd need acetone free.

Yep isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) or turps, maybe even some eucalyptus oil, just something a bit weaker than acetone and not so aggressive

Finally got mine from goHastings on Amazon. While the figure was in great condition, the packaging was unsurprisingly beat, scratched and scuffed to hell, no doubt due to shifting around in a larger, insufficiently padded box. While I wouldn't mind if I bought it for say 80 bucks, there was no excuse for it to be that poorly packed, for its price. I would be satisfied if I could at least get a partial refund.

Funnily enough while messing with my V1 that day, its leg fell clean off, without me even bending it. Then while I was upstairs and my girlfriend was downstairs, she said my DX Joker fell face down on the ground.

I also had some problems getting the main stand into the base. I've tried really hard, even running the stand under hot water, and it still won't snap all the way in.

This figure is bad luck for being so damn awesome...
