Never had a hat

I'm moving this month and while i was boxing up my Joker, saw this empty round hole in the box. As i tried to figure out what went there, I realized it was the cop joker hat. Now, I never even took the cop joker out of the box, so there's no way i could have lost it. And i would have at least taken it out an looked at it before putting the box away, as i did with the Joker headsculpt. So unfortunately I just discovered, years later, that my Joker never came with the hat. Hot Toys forgot to put it in the box. That's going to suck I'd I ever decide to sell him.

So I will formally announce in case I ever decide to sell mine: the peers on my dx01 are broken.

In addition, they broke because I was moving thw eyes to another position.

Well not to be an ass, but it could have broken in transit. If some goon at the depot dropped it down the stairs. Doesn't seem fair just to call the guy a liar when you don't know for sure.

I'm sorry, but that's a really stupid assumption. If that were possible, then many would have broken when Hot Toys first started shipping them all over the world and I haven't heard of someone's pers arriving broken fresh from their seller/distributor.
I'm curious to know if you in fact own one of these. Anyone who does, can clearly see that it's something that will never break in transit, especially if it's triple boxed (inner foam, box, HT shipper and shipping box).
Either way, your comment doesn't help the situation, in fact it worsens it by supporting the seller with his BS argument.

I pieced together my DX joker and when I finally got the head for a reasonable price, I was surprised that nothing happened in transit. It was only in a sandwich bag that was then put inside 2 pieces of of thin chipboard that was tapped on all sides. no foam or anything to protect it during shipping. Now if my head didn't break or sustain any damage from being shipped like that, I HIGHLY doubt that a triple boxed, full figure that is also encased in foam on all sides save the front, inside the massive DX box could possibly be damaged in transit.

ok, he officially told me he believes it broke in shipment, wasnt broken before he sent it, he wont be taking it back and giving me my money, and that he wont be giving me any sort of partial refund.

and somewhat unrelated, can someone show me a picture of the billy b shirt and tie next to the regular shirt and tie and tell em which is which? thanks guys.

oh yeah also, whats the BEST true type body for dx joker, and for the cop dx joker?

Hey Bishart - Was this the seller the reference was for? If so, I'm sorry man. I had no problems with him regarding our transaction.

For the record, I'd be shocked if the PERS system was damaged in transit. Doesn't seem possible.

Don't have exactly what you're requesting, but here is the Billy B shirt, with the DX tie:


The DX shirt has a larger pattern and is less blue. I don't own a BillyB tie.

Opinions vary on which body for the clown set up, but I prefer reg. TT.
The cop Joker goes on a narrow shoulder.

That sucks man. I'm not sure if he came with a stack of cash or not. I kept my stack of cash from the V1 Joker that I sold off(side note: made it clear to buyer I kept the cash stack).

Actually I think you're right. My peers did break in transit. It was on the shelf then to my hands which were rearranging the eyes an then back to the shelf. So great point, mine was in transit when they broke.

The shirt and tie I got from billyb are a bit too large, but it still works fine. I'm pretty sure he made a smaller, more fitting version later on, too.

so he says there is no evdidence in the one photo he sent me that the eyes were messed up prior to shipping. can you guys get close up on this? i think its pretty clear. maybe i should have noticed and questioned him first, but when someone says the figure is PERFECT i assumed i wasnt being lied to. i also assumed the torso is connected to the legs, is that a wrong assumption? haha i cant ask about EVERYTHING.

DX Joker didn't come with cash as far as I know. Only V1 and Bank robber came with the money
