I've always loved this figure. When I had my mint DX02 I was hungrily searching for a DX01 Joker. Turns out the night before my birthday (This was a year ago), I found one on ebay for $350.00 mint in box. Turns out the seller lived only a neighborhood away. We agreed I'd come to get it on my birthday (to inspect it, and if all was well, get it and go). SO on my birthday I check my ebay messages for the hell of it. Guess what, a Japanese buyer grabbed it 2 hours before I checked the message, as I was dressed and ready to leave for the store. The seller wouldn't give it to me, even for $400 cash. He said that he didn't want to risk losing feedback. Thus grabbing a DX01 for cheap would be impossible, and ultimately led to my selling my DX02 to buy the 1989 DX08 Joker and DX09 Batman. Story of my life lol

Wow, that sucks, but why didn't you end the auction by purchasing it (I assume it was a "BIN") ? Or have the seller end the auction?

Because in the pic, the PERS looked a little strange, so I wanted to come and see the thing in person and if all was well, bring that sucker home lol.

Did he doubt that you'd actually show up or something? Or did he fail to take the listing down on time before this other buyer bought it?

He failed to take the listing down. I called before and told him I'd come the next day (my birthday), to see it in person and pick it up.

I've said before and I'll say it again... Some people are never happy. Funny thing is the figure looks way better in person.

Sculpt looks cartoony to me and the Ledger likeness wasn't there so much. Eyes are too big so he looks surprised/high on stimulants or nuts in a non-Ledger way no matter how you try to pose them (assuming the PERS doesn't break when you do so, and end up with a cross-eyed Joker). And it isn't about being unhappy. I'm really perfectly content with the BR Joker sculpt. So I had both, and comparing the two, DX just couldn't hang. For awhile I put the BR Joker head on the DX body, because the DX outfit is definitely snazzier.

So I'm selling my DX01 head with broken PERS. But now I'm thinking of seeling the whole thing. He's not exactly a whole DX though and he would be loose with all the accessories. Heres what he consists of.
Version 1

Pants
Shirt
Socks and shoes
body

DX

Head
Coat
Tie
Vest

And I have the grenade rig, hands, gun,knife and cards from the DX.

Aside from the broken PERS his left knee is a little loose.

I do have the Version 1 box and head so i guess I could include them.

What do guys think I could get for him if I were to sell?

They complain because the sculpt looks too cartoony, like the face is too wide and the eyes are too big due to PERS. Its not a bad sculpt, it has better likeness than the bank robber Joker one but it is not as realistic.

I also don't like how they gave him puckering lips.

I'm trying to fix my broken PERS (a futile effort, I'm sure.) but I can't figure out how to remove the eyes without damaging them. I've already put a small scratch on one. Can someone give me some help?
