Ok, if everyone else can complain about the coat tails and socks I am going to complain about something legitimate. Why don't the hand grenades really explode? I can't believe they would give us fake ones.

I'm more concerned if they will use better Velcro for the shirt & vest, the V1 Joker's Velcro was really weak & my vest kept popping off. Also I hope the production pieces collar closes fully & they use a better tie this time around.

If not, I may just get another shirt & tie set from BillyB again.

I am perfectly happy with the outfit on version one Joker (including coat color and material). I don't see why people are getting laughed at for wanting accurate socks and number of coat tails. Why is it ok to ask for 100% accurate orange inner lining but not accurate socks?

I would probably plan on turning to BillyB, I have a strong hunch the shirt, tie and vest will be exactly what came with the v1. Only possibility is a better collar fit if the neck is sculpted smaller. Those 3 elements don't look any different on the proto so my guess is they aren't. The tie looks better than v1 production but same as v1 proto so I'm not holding my breath.

I don't think anyone should get laughed at or whatever for caring about minute detail accurracy, but I agree with the base notion of the opposing side, which is this.

HT seems like they'll make some corrections/changes to the figure based on feedback, but there's no guarantee it'll all be considered or implemented, therefore, many folks are prioritizing the things to point out based on how easy it is to spot the innaccurracies. Non-purple coat is the most blatant of all and should be tops, red versus burnt red/orange inner lining is pretty noticable. Things like the suspenders and socks are most likely going to see very little viewing time in the entire span of owning the figure. So, the argument is kinda like, stop pushing to fix the socks, let's make sure the super obvious stuff is at least fixed, then move onto the small details. Which I agree with. I'd like accurrate suspenders, but for the couple shots I'll take where I'll notice, I don't care as long as the coat is unquestionably purple. If the coat's like v1 and some fine line between black and purple but the suspenders are 100% accurrate, I'm going to be quite dissappointed.

--> According to the magazine article, they say the vest would NOT be in velcro.. so that's an improvement in that regard.. (I know the proto shows otherwise... but as always, they change stuff)

Well that would be good. Nothing wrong with velcro, but as small a strip and week a veclro as they used, it sucked. It'd be nice if the shirt sleevs were snaps or something too, those have even smaller strips and just barely hold well.

I much prefer snaps or those mini buttons used, they just do the job better as compared to Velcro. Although some would argue Velcro will look slimmer,seamless n better, I much prefer practicality as compared to aesthetics value. At least I know with those mini buttons/snaps, I dont have to adjust the clothing every time I want to take a photo cos the Velcro kept coming off.

I added snaps to my Joker vest and I don't think you can really see any difference from when it was velcro, other than it stays closed now.

The only reason why I would get the Tony Stark suit is the extra large neck post for the Tony Stark head. But it's not really a must, could always fit him on a regular neck post with blu-tack.

I'm getting these two suits for my Tony Stark & Bruce Wayne bash though

I think they fit much better & quality is acceptable as well.

To me those things just seem a little petty. Will anyone actually pose this guy with the socks in view or where you will be able to tell there are less coat tails? People see the coat color and lining so that is important. No figure will ever be 100% screen accurate so I would rather skip the correct socks and get the correct jacket color.
