The promo photo of Heath is way too harshly lit and colour is washed out because of it.

I like how KBA slightly altered the color of the vest. It's a shade greener, closer to the movie vest. Otherwise, beside the coat, it's all minutiae to me.

I never noticed how dirty Joker's gloves were. Might want to weather the gloves when I get the figure.

Credit goes to casper, I just compared his altered image to the original. I think his original alterings are the best. Devil's coat is too dull still IMO

This is just my opinion but, that photo is suspect as hell. Check it out:

Now look at this photo and read the photographers comments:

Due to the lighting conditions, the original photo was underexposed, and I had to photoshop this with more light

This is the ONLY photo I could find that remotely looks like the one Imaresqd1 posted. And it's Photoshopped. I've seen dozens of photos of the actual costume(s), promo pics, film pics, and I own the DVD. And I can honestly say I've never seen ANY pic that depicts the suit blazer like the photo Imaresqd1 posted, besides that PS pic. To me, that's suspect.

Can you post pics that don't have flash? Flash messes with the colors a bit. Natural lighting would be nice.

I've seen dozens of photos of the actual costume(s), promo pics, film pics, and I own the DVD. See that's the big question: should we get what the actual costume looked like in real life or how it looked like in the final movie?

Personally, I've always been for the latter. Lighting, like make up is all part of movie magic. So Hot Toys please don't take the movie magic out of your figures.

EDIT-I see what you're saying now Devil - Those film stills make it pretty clear. Still, the V1 blazer is off enough to throw off the costume for me.

True.. but that further proves my point: If the coat isn't that blue WITH flash.. without flash it isn't going to get magically brighter and more blue.

I also should have been more clear when I said your photo manip still looked a bit off for me. I meant the purple coat not the blue/gray/whatever jacket, yours seemed a little too dull of a purple. But IMO still better than the DX proto color. By a mile.

It still has much more blue hit than the figure coat shows. The lining color (washed out red) i can live with, it's pretty close

I'd rather have the blue than the ugly ass gray that seems very out of place.

The blue just overall looks better with the whole figure.

Either way the jacket in the movie had a bluish tint than the straight out gray the Hot Toys is.

Even the the un-photoshoped pics look more blue than what Hot Toys has shown us. Not one of those pics matches the color on the figure

I dont think it will be long after it is released that someone will try a joker paint scheme on the cop head.
