I think that you're missing the point of what he's saying, though. If the expression's not in the sculpt, it's not in the sculpt. If a sculpt has a blank expression like that above, for example, you might be able to give his eyes a little bit of expression, but you aren't going to be able to paint a smirk where there isn't one. The thing that each and every one of the artists behind these sculpts, other than those featuring extreme expressions such as laughter, up to this point, have failed to realize is that it isn't about capturing Heath Ledger's likeness, nor is it about capturing The Joker's mannerisms, it's about capturing both of those things, and merging them into what we saw on screen, and that's why, to me, some of these sculpts with incredible likenesses fail just as much as sculpts like the DX01.

Gorgeous. The more I look at it, the more I wonder, does the jaw even need modified? If you think so, I want you to look at the photo, and then feel your jaw, then I want you to mimic his expression, and feel your jaw again. You can feel it contracting and compressing. I think the sculpt might already be what we want it to be.

That DX01 could probably fund the whole thing. Just look at those clothes. This figure is simply stunning. I hope it doesn't get delayed, and I can't wait until December.

How much do you think the table and lamp and heads will go for one eBay? I want the laughing head but I think it'd be cheaper to buy this figure and part out the accessories I don't want and sell my V1 then just buying a head for $100ish.

You're easily better off buying the figure and parting out the stuff you don't want.

Yes, this under twenty five year-old kid has been sculpting him for years. Perhaps hot toys should employ him, as they've only been sculpting him for...years.

Well if you think it's perfect good for you I guess - I still think the jaw, hairline and pers all need work

I disagree about the PERS. I think that the hairline is minor enough that it doesn't really do much, but I just can't see what you mean about the jawline. I look at some of those pics (like in the interrogation room), and it looks spot-on, I try to see what you mean, but I just can't. I might be able to see it better if I were just looking at a raw sculpt, or even if someone managed to photoshop it to appear as though it were without paint, but, even if it did, I think the lack of criticism speaks volumes about just how minor of a nitpick it is. I haven't seen any complaints since Neo's initial manip, and that was about a month ago.
