I just bought a body an shoes off ebay for this and have now just received it. It is weird, the foot pegs are tight for the right leg but loose for the left leg. His left ankle collapses so easily. :banghead

It must be a QC issue. :dunno

Oh well at least it is only one leg.

Ball and socket? Blu-tac.

Ball and socket? Blu-tac.

I hate blu-tac because it is so hard to get off!

I fixed it by taping the peg part several times to make a thick layer, it is much more tighter now. Thanks for the advice though, I really appreciate it. :wink1:

I actually just posted this to let people to know some of the minor problems they may encounter, like Rory did, so they would not think they were the only ones that had this problem. :)

Okay...so a question to Rory, Rcd, and Cr0w. How prominent is that flesh colored spot on your PERS sculpt? Right next to the figure's lefthand nostril. You can see it in some of the in-hand pics on here and in the proto pics but how does it look on your figs? I noticed it today for the first time and now it is something i cannot unsee. driving me nuts.

Also, another round of crap smartphone pics to keep things on rolling. Note my phone kind of widens and warps the image overall so its a bit odd looking if you look carefully. Got a pose close to the very first of the proto pics on page 1, my fav of the ones with a 'casually menacing' vibe.

that flesh patch by the nose is accurate. depending on scene, i guess but certainly it is one of the main places wjhere the makeup rubs off and skin is visible. it's there on my custom joker too. the ht sculpt looks most like an interrogation paint job and in that scene it's there for sure.

Do any of you guys ever buy a figure and sell it piece by piece? It seems to be a good money maker.

Thinking about getting a second one of these and selling everything but the parts needed for an interrogation Joker

I've never sold any parts before, I would imagine unless you are doing it in bulk like the ebay pro's it's more hassle than its worth. A few extra pieces that you don't want however it's well worth selling them rather than letting them sit around. I have a load of extra heads which i purchased for customizing just sitting in a (well protected) drawer. I think i may start selling them off soon. too much stuff, just too much stuff...
:lol

I've done that a few times though never with a figure that's still readily available at retail. OC Begins Suit Bats for instance; Complete figures were selling for around $300 at the time but I made $430 off of mine selling it piece by piece.

I'm sure if you crunched the numbers, it would be financially beneficial (provided you don't mind the extra elbow grease) to sell off what you don't need from a second figure instead of simply trying to buy the parts you do.

Yes, I pre-ordered the regular edition and will be selling parts as soon as it arrives locally which I would say is not until March maybe.

@laudanum09 nice pics...I'm finally pulling the trigger on a Special Edition today! :yess:
