Super Freak
i also would have prefered todd remain in the grave. and i loved drake as robin; a little put off by his now never having really been one. i dont mind the time crunch: i like a younger batman. but think the new 52 batman would have been even more to my taste had they brought certain things about slowly. or not tried to include everything in a 6 year period or whatever. i really dug babs as oracle and miss the character and the terrifying repercussions of joker which have almost all been diluted by either rehabilitation or a lazarus pit. that whole jason todd thing is really far fetched even for comic and kind of spits in the face of a classic storyline.
i also wonder what is on the dish, but even if it's a head, i fear it wont be anything permanent somehow. or it will be a more minor character, like gordon's son. anyway, three more weeks and we get to find out.
i like elements of batman's new suit but as a whole i feel the new 52 feels pretty gentrified and looks almost exactly like what it is: every character designed by jim lee. how or why nearly every superhero would have a suit that looked designed by the same person baffles me a little and takes away from each character's individuality. i like that they've moved away from tights but dont feel they took it far enough.
