As I'e said before the mouth is ambiguous maybe, but not a smirk strictly.

Neck looks great to me.


A close up, over exposed shot reveals that the boots are similar to the Takara boots in design (a shoe and a rubber stocking). Not sure how I feel about that...

Cape, not much. I can see they tried to give it that V in the back. Failed miserably

And the boots.

Which makes it not a boot at all. It really looks like a shoe. But I guess they needed to do this to maintain good articulation at the ankle. I'm a little disappointed but not enough to keep me away.

Cape looks cheap up close.

It doesn't bother me. They still look good (better than their previous boots).

I nice thing about the Takara boots is that they add to the posability. I think that this figure will be highly posable which is pretty cool.



And at least the Hot Toys boots look good from a distance thanks to the fact that the "shoes" aren't too big.

The original boots had a good range of articulation, if I remember correctly.

Yeah their articulation was fine. Just the material and sculpt were issues.

Go through all that R&D to make a proper mesh construction and go back to 2006 tech on the boots

It's a boot with a joint stuck in the middle of it. Those that are always calling for a solid figure with no rubber are asking for a figure that looks like that all over.
