Thinking about diving into this batman DX... it would be my first batman HT..
ive managed to fend off all the other chances over the years ,but i can feel this slowly pulling me in....

You really should, this is the last Batman movie so might as well. And you should make up your mind soon cause once these babies are released I doubt you'll be ale to get one for anywhere near the original price

If you are even considering it po it from sideshow now, if u decide against it upon release you only lose 26$. Better than having to pay WAY over the odds cos u missed out on the PO. And once people start receiving theirs u know you'll want one! And these will be double on eBay, this is gonna be their biggest fig release ever for sure.

I managed to keep to only one iron man MK IV ( well to be honest i also got the mk II Armour unleashed )..
So i reckon this is the one to get...now SS or AE...least with SS they flex makes it lil easier to deal with ( or to hide from the misses lmao)

Wise choice, I was trying to decide between onesixthbruce, collectiblesdirect and ToyHQ. Any particular reason why you chose onesixthbruce?

Also, did you know that we'll be getting our figures about a month after their release?

I've been eyeing up Onesixthbruce for a while, they seem like decent guys. And the lay away option sealed the deal. I'm not bothered about the delay, I used to buy direct from Hong Kong and here was always a months delay with pre-orders.

I'm also really tempted by the Eneterbay 1/4 scale Batman & Joker figs, so Onesixthbruce seem to be the best option for them. After reading the MIB thread though I'm not so sure

its done,,ended up going with SS it was only a few $ more than AE, and the free shipping and the flex pay option sealed the deal

OSB are probably the best, I haven't ordered from either of the other 2 you mentioned but OSB's shipping is unbeatable and if there is anything wrong with the figure you are in good hands. Plus Waiman gives good updates on figures etc. I'm ordering this with the layaway later on today!

I see. Yeah I used to order directly from HK myself but I thought that ifI was to order from a UK retailer they would get it to me sooner. Onesixthbruce really seems popular for UK buyers so I guess its a good choice, might switch to them after the DKR figures

Despite the many criticisms of this figure, it stills looks great even from this overly bright photo

Granted the thighs look a little too fat.

I usually order from Alterego though.
I've never placed an order with sideshow. Don't they usually get the figures ahead of the other retailers?

Sideshow is Hot Toys' US distributor, so they get them first and everyone else (BBTS, Alter Ego, Cornerstore, etc) gets their stock from Sideshow only after the second batch arrives, generally a month or two after Sideshow has shipped their first batch to their direct customers.
