Do u guys think that the Bale HS can be used to kitbash a Bruce Wayne fig? From the looks of it it seems like the head, neck and a little of the armor are one piece..

Do u guys think that the Bale HS can be used to kitbash a Bruce Wayne fig? From the looks of it it seems like the head, neck and a little of the armor are one piece..

I think it comes with a little piece of removeable neck armour (like the MKIV Iron Man did) that can be fitted over the neck. Should be fine to leave it off and bash a Wayne figure.

When does this figure actually get released? I thought its meant to be sometime in December (and we would get it roughly a month later) but on some websites I saw the estimate shipment date to be March

Because it's pretty damn obvious that is the DX02.

I'm so upset about the boots on this one.... The boots were actually my favorite part on the dx02

Yeah, I really like the DX02 boots.

Their previous boot sculpts are crap. These look better and are more accurate.

All the previous boots, except the DX02 boots, yes.

I'm hoping they'll use a wider shouldered body for the DX12. It still looks great but i think that would make it perfect. The 1/4 got the proportions spot on imo.

I love the shoulders on the DX12. Every other DK batman has shoulders that are too wide wish makes the head look tiny.

Very pleased with the shoulders on this, and I really hope they don't change them.

The DX02 boots are crap IMO as well. The sculpt is just wrong on all their boots

Torso on DX12 needs to have a slight V shape but it looks like it has an A shape.. 1/4 scale torso and shoulders look much better to me

The dx12 picture above has different mouth piece (neutral face)? Its not one of three expression I saw in promo picture. I really like this face.

It's the same neutral face they've shown from the beginning.

Nothing is wrong with the thighs - it's the ultra slim upper torso that makes the thighs look big

If you're refering to Robin John Blake, then he is clearly going to be the next Batman in Nolanverse because that is the core of Nolan's trilogy. That Batman is a symbol, not an individual, not a vigilante.

That is why he faked his own death, because clearly Blake was reluctant to don a mask when Bruce confronted him as Batman because Blake understood the importance of the symbol. Bruce Wayne sees this which is why he didn't hesitate to reveal his identity to Gordon (that and the fact that there were more and more people knowing his identity in the movie).

That's why with Bruce out of the picture, Blake can don the mask and cape to continue Bruce's legacy as the symbol. Becoming other than Batman (i.e. Robin or Nightwing) would be too much because you will be constantly compared to Batman and you have to bring your name to the same level as Batman. And all you do is actually destroy the basic theme of having Batman AS the symbol.

So the story is pretty much over. Any kind of continuity would have to be carried by a different director with a different vision for the character or by being carried forward through comics which to me is the best medium to continue Nolanverse. Though you won't be seeing Blake as Batman meeting up with Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Flash, much less teaming up with them in an orbitting space station/headquarter.

I do agree about the "V" shape. I've been calling the torso on this "boxy" for a while now. But I'd still take that over the super wide shoulders and tiny arms/hands of the 1/4 scale figure.

Forgot that the Mark IV and VI had that...good to know then, cos i was afraid that they might have glued that armor piece to the HS itself
