HT needs to ship this thing ASAP, because we need OMG now more than ever. Also, Void, we need to get a custom collar piece going for the Wayne sculpt. You can have your butler holding the cape and cowl next to your bat-computer diorama (eventually).

I'd like to think I'm not a whiner, but something is really off here. I think I can speak for most here and say that it looks cool, it just doesn't look like Christian Bale. Could be his stand-in? If he has any.

The bat logos look the same to me, whats the fuss about?

So, what are the odds of HT making another TDK suit Batman in the future? I only ask because I wonder if they aren't sabotaging their products intentionally, making sure that the cash cow that is Batman never dries up. Think about it: each time something better comes out, HT gets people crawling all over it like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Even if said person sells it later on, HT still got their sale, and, subsequently, their profit. They can make a couple of improvements each time, and rake in the cash. This time, it was the mesh under suit, and the Wayne head. Next one, we'll get the perfect body, with an accurate bat and collar pieces. Then, we'll get the cowl, and the likeness, and we'll finally have the Batman we've always wanted.

Yes it is, most certainly. Before the head was huge and the ears were molded right along the chest plate like it was pressed in and flattened (hence the large head).

Look at that thing.



Now it's been refined and the head of the bat looks embossed and not flattened.

I'm giving HT the benefit of the doubt until I see the other two faces. It'd be awesome to find out that the scowl got crappified while the other two were much improved, but that's a pipe dream, for now.

I don't mind that scowl actually. It looks more like Bale than the prototype shots did (which look Photoshopped anyway, especially the teeth faceplate).

The only thing that bothers me are those exposed ab/rip straps (seriously, the ab PLATES should be what catches the eye, not the straps) and the PERS. I don't know why he has the same DX 02 googly eyes again. The DX 09 Keaton Batman eyes were fine and really well done. They were sunken in like real eyes, not popping out of his ****ing head like these seem to be. '89 Batman's were as close to squinting as you could get on a PERS sculpt. This? It looks just as wide eyed as the DX 02 did.


I just held my finger over the monitor/screen where the eyes are on both of the new cowl pics and, to me, it made it look better.
