The Batman and Wayne sculpt look fine to me. Weird lighting ... but nothing really wrong with them.

That Skywalker is pretty rough, though.

I don't mind that scowl actually. It looks more like Bale than the prototype shots did (which look Photoshopped anyway, especially the teeth faceplate).

The only thing that bothers me are those exposed ab/rip straps (seriously, the ab PLATES should be what catches the eye, not the straps) and the PERS. I don't know why he has the same DX 02 googly eyes again. The DX 09 Keaton Batman eyes were fine and really well done. They were sunken in like real eyes, not popping out of his ****ing head like these seem to be. '89 Batman's were as close to squinting as you could get on a PERS sculpt. This? It looks just as wide eyed as the DX 02 did.


I just held my finger over the monitor/screen where the eyes are on both of the new cowl pics and, to me, it made it look better.

I probably shouldn't be too quick to judge. I'll probably see some better pics, and it'll wind up being my favorite face.

Yeah, I'm with you. Everything looks as I expected. Of course the production head sculpt will look different (softer sculpt, inferior paint aps) than the proto. And the futzing is bad in the latest pics, which doesn't faze me.

Can someone tell me when he comes out?

I just spoke with SS and was told this is coming within the next 30 days. HOWEVER, it will be a split shipment. And those who get a random email from SS will get one this time. The rest will have to wait until December. And she said it was a small amount coming this month so no other retailers ( that get from SS ) will get any.

They need to find a way to make the cape drape down more, it like poofs up and make it look wierd. Mabey make the cloth heavier? or matt it down?
