The cowl is made from rubber, so it's only natural that the shape of it would vary depending on his movement.

What HT has done is good enough for me...

Has anyone seen the figure is any extreme poses using the legs? It would be awesome to have a Batman in a crouching pose. I doubt it though.

IMO it's well worth getting.

if you dont have any figures tdk suit yet i think its worth getting it.
with applied custom mouth and custom cape, will be perfect figure

This is worst... I mean the cowl shape.

Look at those horrible gauntlets. How anyone could accuse the Medi ones of looking cheapo compared to the Dx12 is beyond me! The Medi ones look flexible because the real ones are flexible! The DX ones look so stupid when the arms are bent.

Also noticed that the DX12 stomach plates are virtually flat. The Medi has that screen accurate dip that you see on the real suit.

Hope someone comes up with a mod for the gauntlets 'cos I'd rather not cut them off the Medi. Are the DX02 gauntlets the same size?

And those are awesome pictures. It's killing me to have to wait for this guy! I don't care what all the haters say either. This Batman looks amazing! I realize that this is just my opinion but the fact that people are still on this thread gripping when clearly this is the finished product and not the prototype is just ridiculous. What's the point of *****ing and moaning over the finished product when nothing will change? If you're going to get it that's great, if you want to get it and mod it that's great too, but quit being such debbie downers and bringing all your hate on this thread and don't buy it. Every time I get on this thread it's exhausting to read every little gripe. The stomach is flat? Really? I can understand the elbow piece of the gauntlet but come on. This is a toy and will never be 100% accurate.

The point is that Medicom got that bit right years ago. Why can't HT?

And this idea that everyone is *****ing and moaning about it. There is a very active community of modders here. I look for faults in this figure so that I can address them as best possible. There are many otherrs who do the same. For us it is about building the best possible Batman, using the bits that work, and fixing those that don't. Those that get upset seem to be those that just want to buy the figure and put it on the shelf. Don't be upset, that's fine. Enjoy it. It's your money after all.

My biggest gripe about it is that overall, it looks like a toy/figure (due mostly to that cowl head).

We're so used to these being so photo realistic and fooling everyone into thinking it's the real thing that it's a bit of a let down really. There have been a lot of fantastic pics, from OMG to Agen, but the problems still stand out.

Now make no mistake, I'm looking forward to getting mine and it IS an improvement from everything that came before but, eh, it's a meh release. When you consider the fact that this is their 3rd attempt at this version of Batman as well as their 7th attempt at a Bale Batman and their 8th attempt in Batman in general, it's not very impressive. The gauntlet elbows are noticeable, the head is misshapen, the PERS is still ugly, the face plates look like the worst face plates yet.

I can see it being different for someone new to the game who are just getting into the hobby, but for a lot of us, we've been in this thing for a while now. We've seen what the hobby has evolved into. You can't really blame others for having higher standards when we've seen the progression since 2008. No figure is perfect but there doesn't seem to be any wow factor other than, "oh they improved the body with a new technique and it's more poseable".
