BBTS has only given me the brown shipper if the figure was a DX...strange

So is the suit completely fabric and plastics? No rubber? To me that alone is a reason why this immediately is the best Hot Toys Nolan Batman. It's probably the only one you'll still have in ten years.

Seriously? In the movies "world" of course the mask is to hide his face, but the movies aren't trying to fool the viewer. The part of his mouth we do see, doesn't look like Bale imo, and thats the entire point considering Christian Bale is batman.

Yup, seriously. If you walked around people you knew in a cowl and coverings that hid your hair and neck completely and spoke like you had advanced stage throat cancer - I'm pretty sure no one would know who the heck you were - as they dialed 911 on their cellphones.

This was totaly awsome, but I still say DX02 is better. So glad I have one!

Il be honest. I usually don't dig the idea of buying figures twice. Its a really annoying feeling when you put alot of money into something and are fairly happy with the results, only for something similar to come it along and blow it away.

But this figure does look pretty cool. I did have a few problems with the DX02. Awkward proportions, giraffe neck, and the rubber suit which completly prohibited posing were the biggest problems that it looks like this re-release fixed. And im also really digging the new Bale sculpt.

When the time comes to buy this (im guessing realisticly sometime next spring with the way Q4 2012 is going to be backed up) im going to seriously consider picking it up. Now I just have to figure out what im going to do with the old one.

They seriously could have just chopped off the mouth from the Bale/Bruce sculpt and used it as one of the mouth plates for the cowl.

And I would have be okay with that completely.

edit: actually, I'm going to photoshop that and see how it looks. One moment.

Besides, what exactly am I hating? if you even read my posts regarding this figure, nowhere was I even hating it.

okay, I took the mouth from the Bruce sculpt and planted it on the cowl. Ignore the middle one.
