These face plates gotta be a really exact fit to look right as the Keaton Bat has shown.


Also, I would think the face plates on the DX02 would be smaller not larger than these.

Yeah I think they are most likely smaller.

It's an obvious project for a sculptor though. Can make a killing off a good neutral faceplate.

Just shaving it off the Bruce head would suffice

I missed that with Keaton, what was shown?

Just talking about the top edge of the neutral mouth he came with. It's not a perfect sharp edge so it catches the light. I would think trying to force a face plate not designed for a cowl would be even more unsightly.

More people should appreciate the work that goes into these figures and how accurate they are no matter the little flaws or inaccuracies. Not aimed at you but some nit pics i've read today have been over the top. It's a 1/6 scale figure, you can't expect them to get everything exactly right when the real costume itself has in-consistencies between promo stills, trailers images and other artwork.

This figure looks the most lifelike of any HT so far i think, if you remove the logo's and show some of these images to people who dont know of these collectibles then they would believe they were pictures of Bale, i dont think you can ask for more than that personally.

I think the fact that Hot Toys are milking most of the figures is a testament that most people appreciate their work.
Its only natural when something new comes along, then of course people want to disect the figure.
I myself is very forgiving, if the total representation is great, then I'm all for it.
My thing is, normally, if it has to be compared to a photoshop image, then I probably wont care. Its obvious I would have overlooked it if it wasnt for the photoshop comparison. But if its something blatantly obvious from just staring at it, then those are ones that sometimes I would wish it would be fixed before release.
But my thing is, if the total representation is magnificent, then I can easily overcome whichever flaws it may have.

My gripe are the ones who find the smallest flaw and equate that the figure is crap because of that minor detail ignoring all other grand detail the figure possess.

hey guys, i'm really impressed with this figure and since i missed out on the dx02 i am definetley picking up the dx12.

however, i just want to know that since i am living in ireland, where would be the best place to order it from? i know on sideshow it has free shipping but i could get caught with custom fee's.

Any advice?

okay, I took the mouth from the Bruce sculpt and planted it on the cowl. Ignore the middle one.

Man, I hope the dx02 moutpiece can fit, I really like the one on the top right.

Well worth it especially if you don't own a TDK/TDKR Batman 1/6 figure yet.

This is the one to buy no doubt. If you ever want to part with it, i'm sure you will get your money back if not more
