Can someone help me figure out how to insert the cape? I'm having a really tough time finding the right way to insert the pegs.

They kind of just clip on. Don't push the hooked portion into the hole. the hooked portion actually sits on Batman's shoulder, and curves over the shoulder towards his back (if that makes sense?). The part that looks like teeth grabs both sides of the square hole.

I had a tough time figuring it out also. Just think of it clamping onto the square hole and not being inserted down into the square hole.

Got my Bats today and can't stop looking at him. I've got a bad case of the slightly crosseyed PERS that I can't seem to get rid of but other than that I'm totally satisfied. As far as the faceplates I'm pretty satisfied but none blow me away. I'm tending to like the smiling sculpt for some reason and the open mouth is much better than in pics. My Begins Bats has the permanent frown so I'm planning on avoiding that with this guy, unless he's battling Bane.

The Bruce headsculpt is killer and from certain angles look so much like Bale. Other angles just look like an older Bruce.I've replaced the cape already but aside from that I don't intend to do any mods aside from cutting the buckles off of one set of gloves.

Congrats and nice pics. Your right those eyes are def crossed a good bit. I have been lucky so far and never received a cross eyed dx figure, but I cross my fingers every time I receive one( no pun intended). You should def contact your seller for a replacement or return.

My wires arnt showing but it looks like the seem on the cape is weak all around and I will need to replace the cape all together, live with it, or just re sew the cape.

Yeah with my DX1 it wasn't as bad and I just had to go all the way right and left a few times for it to straighten out. With the DX12 that didn't help at all. Guess ill hit up BBTS and try and get a new head.

Alter Ego has this back on preorder. Thinking of canceling my BBTS order and opting for AE instead cuz I have rewards points there. That and BBTS is taking FOREVER to ship mine.

Yea if you want to use reward points then it's a good idea but they said that the shipment that's up for PO is for the one they expect to "ship later in December" so it will probably come at the same time as your order from BBTS. AE is using actual shippig now instead of flat rate shipping which is turning out pricier than before so I think I'll soon be ordering direct from Sideshkw now.

Mine came cross eyed and I used that solution took a bit to get just right but in the end he doesnt have a vision impairment now.

Yep and add to that that they seem to be running a little slow since they just got their new site up and running. They normally get stuff in a week or 2 after SS and they've been getting/or shipping out the last few releases slower than normal. Not sure of that has to do with their new site or not but they seem like they could go hand in hand

Mine came with the cape messed up or unfinished. One of the tabs is straight up missing and he other one seems either half torn off of sewn on wrong. Seam around the neck/collar area is all ratty. And I read some mention of wires in the cape? This one has none. Let's see what customer service says.

Got my DX12 yesterday and I love it! I was worried at first because the brown shipper had a massive tear and crumple on the bottom of the box. Luckily the box itself wasn't so bad that I couldn't live with it. especially since the figure 100% intact and with no QC issues. (That I can tell anyways) Once I got this guy out and futzed with him the best that I could I think it turned out pretty good. I haven't done any mods yet but plan on maybe the short neck mod and painting the eyes. Weary about the glove mod but I may get daring and try it later. the only thing I've done is put on the lforigno long velvet cape as I didn't really care for the stock cape. For now I'm just going to enjoy and impatiently wait for The Joker.
