Damn it! It's sold out on Sideshow and I was still waiting to order mine.

Now I have a Batpod and Tumbler but no Batman to go with it. I entered the waitlist for the first time... hopefully it will convert.

Sucks man, I'm in the same boat. Missed out as well. Added myself to the waitlist. Not sure how good my chances are, hopefully my order converts. Unfortunately BBTS isn't an option as they want over 70 bucks shipping to Australia

Yeah I just jumped on the bbts pre-order too, I was planning on getting this as it came out, then everyone started poo pooing it and the dx10 came out and I bought 2 of those instead. Don't regret that one bit but now that banes coming out and I want him, an I need bats to stand next to him so, hopefully they get him in soon.

Well the irony there is if you sell your batman collection you can buy this and a few others, bane or joker maybe it would be like updating your batman collection

I still don't understand the purpose of the undersuit. Is it only to give the figure a more bulky appearance? If the figure looks well and has better pose articulation without the undersuit, why Hot Toys had to waste time and money adding it.
I am guessing that the undersuit is an extra protection just in case the rubber material gets too close to the plastic body and thus creating a chemical reaction. Hot Toys does not want to risk its reputation again with leaking legs or abs. I read that there was a chemical reaction if you put dx2 boots on the dx 12. Was it true?

Again, it's probably there so the suit still looks full in action poses...unlike the Toy Fairs Batman Begins figure which the suit really had a ton of room between it and the base body. When posed, the suit puckered and bunched up. I think this is HTs happy medium. It has better articulation than the 02 and it doesn't bunch up because of the under suit, like the TF Begins Bats did.

It's rather thin, but those forearms are unique to this figure. They have flat spots to keep the gauntlets from spinning. As are the thighs, they are slotted so the foam padded under suit glues into.

I still havent figured out how to slide off the EMP rifle's battery door without damaging it.

Excellent. I think I left my EMP gun on the other day. Dead as a doornail now.

Which is why I only removed it from the lower body. Looks to skinny on top otherwise IMO.

Great comparsion pictures.....and welcome to the no undersuit club

Now snip off the lower leg portions of the undersuit....you can use them to stuff the ankles instead of tape to bulk them up!

Is anyone waiting for a replacement figure from Sideshow? I finally got my figure from UPS a few days ago but the box was obliterated. The figure is now on "waitlist" status - so I hope that they'll still be able to process a replacement for me.

After seeing the thunder thighs comparison, I am going to leave the suit on. I'm too afraid to remove the armor and I am kind of into a little meat on a woman.

Got my second DX12 tonight (having sold my first.)- got right to work on him! Just over 30 minutes to take the fat suit off and put the body armor back on. Really was very straight worward. NO cutting. But it was like a woman giving birth to a 15lb baby- some things stretched. lol
