Do those stink-bomb ampules to the right belong to Batman or Boba Fett?

That pose is great, and with a clutter-free background and some dramatic lighting, it would be simply epic. Do it.

BTW, have all these mods been previously discussed in the thread? I know I've read about the cheeks and now the cape - never seen the glove or ankle discussion though.

Looks really good. That ankle widening mod does a lot the the shoe/boot syndrome. That one is a definite.

From my previous post in relation to my EMP gun not working out of the box I've ordered some replacement LR521 batteries to try, if not I may have to go down the Hot Toys Customer Service route which I've heard is non-existent.

To follow up, replacement batteries came today tried and sadly the gun still will not light up at all guess its Hot Toys customer service here I come

Awesome, looks great with the mods. Love that simple pose you got going on too. Unfortunately like some other freaks, I'm too worried about destroying mine in the process of doing any mods. To me the figure looks fine stock, besides the cape. I posted mine a few pages back with an iforigno cape. But stock DX12s seem to get no love

Please forgive my noob-ish question but, where does Sideshow offer Paypal as a payment option? When I look at payment options at checkout all I've ever seen are credit cards??

Can you do Paypal for phone orders or something??

I am a big fan of the dx12 straight out of the box. Its an amazing figure and on my shelf as is. The main thing you have to mess with is the cape...getting it to lay flat and drape correctly without buncing, etc. However I did pick up another to mod and customize...starting with robbie's faceplate and iforgino's cape.

As far as paypal, it depends on the item, whether it is in stock, etc. I have used paypal on my last 3 hot toys figures I purchased through SSC.

Side-question: Has anyone seen any small (mini/tiny) 2" tall figures or statues of Batman (and other Hot Toys/Sideshow licenses) that one might be able to use as a 1/6 representation of a 1/6 figure?

So far the only thing I can think of are the 80's Star Wars micro line that came with metal figures - they're a little under-sized but could work. I'd like to make a miniature Detolf and need something to put in it.

That must be the case. I would gladly use Paypal instead of a CC most times.

Obviously Paypal isn't allowed for pre-orders on SS site or Flexpay but if I buy something outright, I will use that accordingly.

Dark Knight Heroclix would probably work well. Last year they did Dark Knight and Avengers/MCU. You'd just have to pop em off their bases.

Thank you so much for the suggestion, I think they should do the trick. This also lead me to search for Star Wars equivalents and I discovered that Wizards of the Coast do a Star Wars game and have an enormous assortment of miniatures as well. I just haven't been able to verify their sizes yet. I've also looked unsuccessfully for any James Bond 1:36 figures without luck.

But the Batman and other hero stuff looks great so far.

I don't think I'll be able to find anything precisely 1:36, so these miniatures will probably be my best bet.

Just recently I also purchased a couple of Hoth "Battle Packs Unleashed" and they could be good as well, but they're probably 2.5" tall (I haven't opened either of the packs yet). If I did use them in this way it'd be a great coincidence, because I actually purchased them by accident, thinking the figures were 3 3/4" sized. Ebay...

i like your cowl widening mod ecko, what size plastic did u put in between? i put in two pieces of paper clip on mine but it doesnt look as extreme as yours & i want to change it ... got any pics of it?

People weren't happy with how the final Bruce Wayne sculpt turned out. Did it really turn out bad, or are the people saying that just picky?

i think it's a great sculpt for an older bruce wayne.

some people are picky.
