I also can't believe they used the word "Premium" with "Hot Wheels." When I was growing up Hot Wheels always meant "junkers" and "premium" was Tomica and Matchbox - at least at the toy and variety-store level.

That set is a huge disappointment. I can't believe after all this time, all the anticipation, all the hype, that this is the best they could come up with. It looks like something that was just slapped together as a quick cash grab, not a 'premium' box set that this trilogy deserves. This does not do justice for such an epic trilogy. I would've gladly paid top dollar for a quality box set that came with really cool memorabilia from the film, remastered versions of the first 2 films (especially batman begins) and better bonus features.

They are actually worth half the collectors edition right now, especially that tumbler is going for 20-30 bucks along, the bat pod for 15, and the bat for like 15 tops, unless your lucky enough to get them when they are in stock, but aftermarket prices is killing it.

Those Hot Wheels cars never did anything for me. I do like the 1:18 models though.

Has anyone bought one of the recast DX02 backpacks selling on ebay? I'm tempted to get it but wanted to see if anyone has it and what their opinion is regarding how well it's made/painted/etc.

It sits OK on DX12 (but you should do everything slowly and gently). Painting is not flawless, but it is looking OK, if you do not know what it is, and not staring at it directly.

I just really want those Mondo villain cards, I think I'll just try and snatch them from Ebay and put them as a backdrop in my detolf. Or put them all together and frame em.

I'll still get it for around $70 or so Amazon might have it at but yeah a huge huge letdown

Got my custom cape for Bats from fellow freak RickRooster, can't remember which cape it is though!

Also done the glove/cuff mod.

This, quick and easy! His hands now fit onto the wrist pegs fully.

Also the cape (thanks again!) and the Robbie mouth.

How easy is it to do the glove mod? Is it just about trimming down the cuff? Ivhave him holding the EMP gun right now and the wrist pegs are too short to secure the hands.

quite easy. dunk the cuffs into hot water for about 20 seconds to get it really soft, and trim away with an exacto knife or blade of your preference. I recommend you cut a slit down the cuffs first, and then circle around it.
