I was boxing back up my Batman DX 12 last night, (I had to because of little kids and cats getting into my stuff) and noticed that one eye opening on the cowl is bigger than the other opening on the left side. Has anyone else seen this before?

I held the figure under the lights and even put my reading glasses on, and it is definitely there. I double checked my official full scale TDKR cowl that I have and it is perfect, whereas, the figure cowl is definitely off.

Think I'll try the cuff mod. Just so I'm clear, it's the end of the gauntlet that gets trimmed, right? This allows the hands to move more freely and actually fully seat into the peg holes, correct?

No, you cut the cuffs of the gloves off with an xacto knife. DO NOT cut the gauntletts.

Do you guys think this is the last release of the TDK Batman or is there a possibility for a future release of this suit or the Batman Begins suit by HT in the future?

The shadows betray you because they belong to me!!! Lol! I still love this figure, I could never convince myself to mod him, but I am totally happy with him right out of the box.

I couldn't see why they wouldnt do a DX begins suit. Hot toys keep getting new collectors every year and the prices on ebay for figures new collectors have missed out on are insane so I think the demand is there. plus each year they just get better and better with the product they release. So why not release an improved version. I wouldn't say no to upgrading my figure.

I wouldn't expect them to do a re release anytime soon. Maybe the anniversary of the movies.

I got my $18.99 Ebay mouth today. Installed it on an unmodded head and I personally think it looks better then all of the stock mouths. Here's a pic in case anyone was wondering how it look.

Last release for a couple years or more is my guess. HT might do it later as exclusive maybe? Never say never but it'll be awhile

For Hot Toys 1/6 scale, I think this is it. There is the 1/4 Dark Knight Rises Batman coming soon and I've read other posters claims of rumors that HT might do a 1/4 Batman Begins Original Costume Batman.

The next Batman by Hot Toys in 1/6 scale should be the Arkham Asylum Batman. After that, I'd say the next HT Batman would either be the Batman Returns Batman or a new Batman when WB reboots the character. With those hopefully lined up to be made, there is no immediate need for HT to return to the DK Batman.

But for the Nolan Batman in 1/6 scale, this is it...unless HT does some sort of convention exclusive in the future, or they decide to package a Dark Knight Batman with the Dark Knight Armory they previewed several months ago.

I dont think this will be the last one, they are too popular. Nolan batman and joker are destined to be rereleased forever.
