Really disappointed in the faces and the eyes

Rest of the figure mostly looks great and the Bale sculpt looks awesome in OMGs pics, but such a shame about the cowl

Yup real bad. But from the new pics, I am eating my words, because from some angles, man, I can't but help and see Christian Bale in the cowl. Looks great. But then from other angles, meh.

I have yet to see any angle where Bale is present. I only see him in the Wayne head sculpt for obvious reasons but nothing in the cowl. All I see based on the mouth sculpts Hot Toys provided us is a very angry and disturbed man

there you are man. I thought you were death by a heart attack caused by how bad this figure looks

Hot Toys fixed only the bat symbol, the rest is the same or worst than proto. That should kill everyone's hope on Hot Toys fixing the QS001.

Well, I don't know if it is just the quality of these pictures compared to the last, and I am by no means a Hot Toys fan boy, but some of the shots taken are quite good, I think.
For example, the picture I have attached looks quite good.
But I do agree with most of what you said. There is not a lot of Bale present in most shots, only some, and that is just not good enough.
But she suit and Bruce head sculpt have blown me away. I think this is one area that Hot Toys did a real good job in.

- they fixed the bat symbol on the chest
- the body looks great
- armor is executed perfectly
- better neck piece



The meh,

- sticky bomb gun . . . again! (great accessory though, one of my all time favorites)
- Bruce Wayne headsculpt (better than Toy Fairs Begins, their best to date but, eh, how much better?)
- base
- box design





The ugly,

- cowl head
- mouth pieces
- PERS
- accessories
- crappy EMP gun with pathetic LED lights (the glow is weak as hell, nothing like the specs/pics)

Personally I like the figure. I definitely see Bale in some pics (like the one where he's standing in front of the Batpod on the base) and other are just like what the hell pics. It's gong to come down on how you display it and what lighting you give it. Everything is personal opinion but I think this figure will be great in hand. I look forward to getting it.

I think I will just post 1 with medi cowl, and another 1 with the Bruce Wayne head, next to the bat with (hopefully) an Alfred fig like the cave scene in TDKR.

Yeah, I am. I'm not saying it's right, but we all know Hot Toys by now, and we know that if we want things fixed, we're going to have to speak up. The cowl appears to have been widened, like people wanted, but the PERS and the mouths throw it off. Personally, I want someone to shrink down the EB faceplates, and format them to a TDK cowl. The eyes aren't doing this one any favors, but, with genuinely good faceplates, I think it'd certainly bring the quality up a bit. For me, the faceplates are pretty meh. I don't hate them, but I do think that they could've been a lot better.
