Hey guys,

Quick question...

It appears that my DX12 is suffering from lazy eye on the PERS & I can't fit my big fingers in to fiddle with the nub (Is this the most stupid idea for a PERS nub???) to try & see if I can straighten them up.

I'm just wondering though is there a fix for the issue or will I need a new head & hope this one fares better in the PERS department??

why are you trying to use your fingers? shouldn't you use the pers tool?

I still can't believe how Hot Toys aprooved that cowl sculpt. They can make beautiful sculpts like Predator, Superman and even keaton Batman, that looks amazing even with PERS. But they failed on a third Batman TDK-R attempt, how weird is that. If I were the manager of the sculpts department, I would get the Medicom cowl, tweak a bit and deal done. The 1/4 Batman TDKR has the same 1/6 cowl sculpt, another fail.

I think I might be one of those based on the fact that I didn't even know it came with one

I only have 3 other PERS figures - DX06 / 08 / 09 & all those were super simple because the back of the heads come off so didn't realise they came with tools to fiddle with these ones.

I'll have a proper look when I get home from work & please excuse me for being thick

one side is to pop out the face plates the other side is like a little cup to maneuver the pers.

So i finally got this guy today . What an amazing piece, i can't stop looking at it. I haven't put him standing over the pod yet like i said i would, he looks too badass just standing there.

I actually did a couple of Mods to him after i said i wouldn't. I cut the gloves, made the opening of the gauntlets wider so they fit over the gloves, I also tried the heat and squeeze on the shoulder pads, i think they look ok a little less bulky now than they did stock. I've also got lances cape attatched. I have no intention to paint his eyelids though as in hand mine has hardly any skin showing or it atleast it looks that way.

All i need to do now is glue his mesh sleeves back in place and get one of robbies faceplates then he's done.

Tell me about my standard cape will never see the light of day

My one is a Tony Meis version & it's so much awesome.

I just looked at my Robbie face next to the one you have on at the mo & while the standard is ok Robbies really makes the face
I definitely recommend one

Oh & I found the PERS tool
Had a fiddle with it & I think I've managed to fix the issue of lazy eye

yay!

and i know what you mean about the cape ~ i have a custom cape too and the standard-issue has not made it out of the plastic (and probably never will). i actually probably would have been fine with it, but i like the custom too much to bother trying to fit the other one now.

I ordered mine on the 9th of Feb, and was charged yesterday. Called SS today because it still said shipping soon on the site. SS said it was shipped this morning, and that I would get the UPS notice later today. Fiend I'm guessing you will also get a UPS notice in your mail box today bud.

Guys I'm doing a super limited run on a Bruce Wayne headsculpt. Only 20 people can sign up for the raffle. The price will be $700 for the painted version and $650 for the non painted version.
