I would have loved a gunmetal repaint of the mk 7 like the mk3 or secret project... this is the very next best thing, the silver bits are the cherry on top.

wonder why HT never did the stealth mk 3, that was another really cool repaint

I have a suspicion we'll get to see the stealth armor in action in Avengers 2 along with the Hulkbuster, 2 official releases HT can do ;)

I was too late for the pack-out but Midas came in excellent condition, which surprised me seeing how UPS handles stuff. Off to work..

Same here, I emailed SSC asking for packout and never got a reply back. I lucked out and saved $10 and the shipper box was not dented or crushed in any sort of way.

This looks really great.
With the new scarcity of the MKVII, i might repaint my Midas when i get it back to MKVII colours so i can have another MKVII on the shelf.

Dont you have like 3 already? it might be easier to just trade for one :lol

speaking of, I personally think HT should have taken the liberty of painting Igor red/gold... then I would have bought

:hi5:

I prefer the blue in a sea of red and gold armors on my shelf already :)

but HULKBUSTER man!! :D

I felt like the varying colors were done purely for the sake of making tony seem edgy or some ****... red and gold all the way, especially on his landmark suits (minus stealth of course)

I'm convinced we will see a Hulkbuster both in film and Hot Toy form. Having Igor red/gold as well as Hulkbuster red/gold wouldn't be my preference so I'm happy Iggy is blue!

Igor was *not* Hulkbuster.
That's why it was called Igor and painted blue and white.
It's in the commentary for IM3. Hulkbuster is being saved for later, so it was allowed to be reminiscent but *not* Hulkbuster.
Like Igor is in the direction of Hulkbuster, but like a MKI version. Any Hulkbuster armour we eventually see will be an order of magnitude larger and more powerful.

Yeah I get that but the red/gold concept in the art book is good enough for me... as for the commentary I never bought that POS, is there good stuff on the bonus features?

I thought so.
There's an incredible featurette on the AF1 freefall scene, highlighting the work done by the stunt team.
They never say it, but i reckon they were at least slightly inspired by the plane hijacking in TDKR, with most of it being done in-camera. They *could* have done it all CG. But they went to incredible lengths to capture as much as they could in-camera.
I reckon the IM3 BR disc set is worth buying just for the documentaries.
And as for the "wine cellar" suits, in the commentary, Shane Black talks about how upset he was that Marvel/Disney showed so much of the other suits in the trailers and other promo stuff. He wanted to never mention the other 34 suits at all and only show footage of the MK42 and IP(Without ever referring to the MK42 by name).
If he had his way, the reveal of all the other suits would have been a total geek-out surprise for fans in the house party scene at the end.

that does not surprise me at all. Personally I wish they would have revealed the other crap (mandarin) so I wouldn't havehad to waste my money :lol

that plane sequence was pretty cool, but the idea of it was worthless as it made tony less heroic

They aren't actually giving away an Angelica Hot Toys figure randomly are they?

I think it is nice that they already give $25 discount code with every order even ones that already have discount codes on them. I actually was looking at Angelica since I now have $75 discount to use on something.

they are giving her away but I think its only to Americans...

:exactly: I really liked the movie, but I would have liked it so much more had they not went that route with Mandarin.

And probably used in Avengers 2 or another movie to.... You know... Fight Hulk.
