As seen in the highly popular Iron Man 3, Aldrich Killian and his Extremis soldiers were no weaklings and Tony Stark needed to take them on with his legion of new suits to avenge for his dearest friend and rescue his girlfriend.

The 1/6th scale Midas (Mark XXI) Collectible Figure features multitude layers and shades of metallic gold color painted by Hot Toys’ Korean Chief Painter & Production Director JC. Sideshow better be making some calls to get these babies up for preorder. I don't feel like having to book an unexpected trip!

I would guess, and really hope, that SSC will get this regardless of how linited it is. They are the #1 distributor for HT. Plus, I remember a few months ago, SS reps told several members here that there weren't going to be any SDCC exclusives. But there would be "Summer Exclusives". I don't think its a coinsidence that this is considered a "Summer Exclusive"

I'm with you here. I would bet this will be similar to the BD Mark VII. Just under $300. I've been trying to figure out how to get one of the PI Gold repaints. Now I don't have to. Although this isn't a straight repaint like PI's, its an actual new Mark with multiple gold tones.

I hate all the IM release but by keeping in mind that HT will release all armors I shouldn't be surprised anymore.

Too bad we can't tell if this is really Mk 21. For what I can tell it looks nice. The color tone will add difference in the armor legion. Too bad I can't and don't have enough fund to complete the suit.

Wow, seriously? They're just making up suits now?

At the rate they're going, I have to imagine they're going to oversaturate the market with more Iron Man figures than the collector's can possibly afford or care to purchase - and as a result they'll be sitting on a stockpile of unsold merchandise. I can't imagine even the most rabid of Iron Man fans would want $9,000 worth of 1:6 scale Iron Men filing a room.

They're not making them up, if you look at the list of suits, this IS the Mk 21.

Not that they aren't utterly milking the line. But it's not fabricated.

Well HT did mention they would shift their focus more on Iron Man products, besides its business, why not milk more outta the potential buyers while it still can. Pretty sure they can't assume what'll happen to the iron man movies in 4+ years from now.

Why would someone spend money on this if they own the MkVII, and this is just a repaint of that same armor? This Iron Man stuff is getting crazy now...

Considering this is the first official repaint of all the IM3 armors, I'd bet they will at least make all the armors they can that are repaints first. I did a quick comparison of all the armors in the Art of IM3 book and these are the armors that appear to be straight repaints or combination armors ( ex: one marks head on a different marks body ). Pics coming
