Hey everyone ! I'm new around here so first of all hi to anybody I haven't talked to yet !
I was able to get Midas on Saturday (luckily enough I live just 5 minutes away from lacitedesnuages, the shop you were talking about a few pages back) and let me tell you, this thing is amazing ! The mark 7 sculpt + the golden colour make this thing an absolute beauty !
I've taken a few pictures of it today but when I try to upload them as an attachment or in a post they are sideways and the quality is greatly decreased ... Any words of advice ? (Sorry for the nooby question, I did do a bit of research on the forum but can't seem to find an answer).

Simply copy the image url -> when posting a post, on the top you will see a little small yellow box with a mountain in it. It's 3 spaces to the left of the SPOILER insert.

Click it and it'll tell you to insert your image url.

Or you can just copy and paste your image url as such:

Would there be a way of doing it directly from a mobile device (I took the pictures with an iPad) and keeping the full quality of the photos or is it better to upload the picture on the internet to get an URL and do as you describe ?

Upload it to a service like Photobucket.. then cut and paste the 'image' code (from the list of codes provided) into your post on this forum.

Register a photobucket account and download the photobucket app.
Use the app to upload the images to your account, then copy and paste the links either into your posts here or into a notepad document on your phone before posting here.
It can be done. But it's easier to use a computer so there's less hassle.

I'd buy it if it were $250. Anything else seems like overpaying for what is just a simple repaint.
It's great, don't get me wrong.
But $250 would be my upper limit on this one.

I was pretty surprised when I saw that my local shop was getting him in, seeing that Sideshow didn't even have him yet ! I do hope they eventually do get it for you guys ...

I paid roughly 324 euros (I am a member at lacidesnuages and therefore have 10% off). It's far from beeing cheap but as I wasn't able to pick up the mark 7, this one came up cheaper than any mark 7 I've been able to find in Europe ... So not to unhappy all in all (but I don't think I'll be spending that much on another figure any time soon).

I can totally see where you're coming from ! If I already had the mark 7, I would probably not have picked this guy up ...
I did pay a pretty penny for him but I've always told myself that I would get ONE HT iron man figure, and when I saw him come up, I couldn't pass on him !

I am certainly not denying that it is a beautiful figure. If they released every armour in the Midas format with gold colours, i reckon they would sell like hot cakes.
But i already have all the armours from the HOA plus armour test Tony, a spare MKIII for the gantry and Iron Monger.
If i can get this one for $250, i will get it.
If not, i am totally content to enjoy it from the images of others.
