Just opened it up last night. Very impressed. Here's a few quick shots including the narrow fit into the Detolf. Will post more/better ones later.

I wonder if i might make an image request?
Can you please take a few closeup images of the joint where the main arms attach to the tubular "arm removers"? From the underside preferably.
I want to get a handle on how they work(And i would love to see the extent of their movement if possible in other directions).
Thanks in advance.

Sure thing. I'm at work now but I can do that when I get home this evening.

looks like the running price for the full set is now around $700, shame I should have gotten one when it was avalible on SSC(just too much stuff coming out), looks like I'm just going to have to go with the stand alone Gantry and put my Mark VI in it

Well, I'll tell you that I sold my extra set for like $550. I had to sell separately Gantry, Mark IV and the Mark IV'sculpt, or i would have made less than $500.
I suppose that being in Italy sucks.

Thanks a lot.
I have got a chance of getting the gantry, but i am only going to get it if the thing can be posed correctly!
Looking forward to the pics!

Here's a few. I took a couple from underneath with the arms pushed back and then from the side to illustrate how far back the tubes can bend. It's got pretty great articulation. Hope this helps. Let me know if you're looking for any other shots! :)

Excellent pics.
thanks a lot for taking the time to do that for me.
Just one more question.
On the image below, where the "red" part meets the "green" part, is there any lateral movement? Does the "arm removal tube" swivel on that joint?

The only reason i ask is that i would want to replicate the actual gantry in the movie, and in the movie, the arms don't jut out on the sides.
They are pointed back behind Tony the whole time...

Might sell my set soon. Really debating it right now. I'll let you know if I do decide to sell it.

Wow it's going for $650? 90% sure I'll pop it up on eBay then.

Or sell it to you if you want it, pretty sad, beautiful set but I have no room at all to display it and have yet to display it since the day I got it.

yeah i was watching that one, 30$ shipping and just saw that it sold today along with a mark v for 280, wish i jumped on that. a few days before that one sold for 630shipped. I'd like to find one for 6, think thats about the highest i'll go for it, otherwise i'll grab just the gantry and shove mark II au in it.

Sorry for the delayed response. There is some lateral movement but not a ton. It will move slightly side to side if that helps. Just not a lot.
