Sorry to hear that. SSC should at least give their clients to receive the replacement before smashing the old one. At least you get to choose which parts are better.

What's the consensus on this as a Stormtrooper figure? Having a hard time tracking down a R1 or ANH trooper. Is it better/worse than the others?

From what I can tell from pics and videos, its the same except a little taller. I've thought about getting it for myself for the same reason. But I do have a RO trooper.

It's taller than the tall trooper from the two pack. It looks great and I think the height gives it good proportions personally. I got two extras to use as regular Stormtroopers.

No just posted the code earlier when I found out you could use it on (almost) anything. Almost picked up another Death Trooper - good deal too but saw the Stormtrooper for even cheaper.
Can only use the code once. Figures that out after going back and trying to swoop up the DT.
Although I think someone mentioned you can get the discount on multiple items if you load up your cart before checking out.

I had that in my cart for hours procrastinating on buying it. I told myself to wait till the last minute just before the coupon ended and if it was still there I'd buy it.

Ultimately, I think it would drive me nuts knowing it was incomplete and I didn't have a box.

Hehe yeah i stumbled across it amidst my “get off of ebay and save for my upcoming PO releases” but said F-it. Wont find a brand new ANH Trooper or even used for that price. I could deal without the box on this deal, though all other purchases I’m always looking for the box and shipper.

I think it’s probably the best one. The only edge I’d give to the regular trooper over it is in the waist area. For some reason the armor there on my Han figure looks a bit skinny and the belt doesn’t fit as well. I also find that the communicator hand is good for holding the large rifle.

I ultimately sold off my Stormtrooper two pack and just kept the Luke and Han versions for the extra display option they provide.

Looks great TT, having ST's w different heights adds a realistic touch to your displays and the Han ST is the ONLY ANH tallest one. I was lucky, mine has a smooth seamless helmet and all the white parts match color. It's a truly fantastic ANH ST.

That's one of the reasons I hesitated on buying the Han Trooper yesterday. I also really want a Death Trooper since I missed out on them. Every time I've watch RO I like them more and more, and seeing them in Rebels was cool too. Also my son really likes them so that helps. Couldn't find one on Ebay at a price I was willing to pay though, even with the 20% off coupon. Plus, still hoping they do the ROTJ Stormtrooper version they've showed at conventions.
