What’s the deal with that Jnix hybrid, TM? Did you add a different hairpiece?

It's the hairpiece from the Hot Toys sculpt. One of the guys on these boards did all the work, I simply bought it from him. I think it suits the Stormtrooper disguise Han, and gives it a slightly different look from the standard Jnix sculpt.

I got mine from sideshow last week with no shipper or the plastic bag that usually comes with HT figures. I emailed sideshow about it and they told me they Hot Toys doesn't always send their figures with shippers. Has this happened to anyone else? I've ordered many Hot Toys from sideshow and this is a first for me

Never happened to me. To be honest that would bother me i would feel like i got a return.

I think the US is the only ones that get shippers according to Budget Stark. Best guess is maybe they got a few extras from Secret Base in HK. If it was a return i would think whoever had it would ship it back with the shipper. Does the figure look like it's been taken out (plastic on arms, legs, etc missing).

Figure is brand new. All the plastic wraps are where be should be and the box is in perfect shape with no dings. With this being an exclusive I refuse to believe they would be shipped without the shipper box as I've seen all the exclusive in HK normally are in HT shippers. I asked to return it in exchange for a fresh sealed one. Lets see how that goes.

I have got a couple without shippers from BBTS but never SSC. Might have been returns but i could not tell for sure.

Could be from HK or they’re cracking into the 6pk dealer boxes. Maybe they’re out of their regular stock. I agree I’d feel kinda skeptical especially coming from SSC but if everything is intact and unopened should be good. I’d email and ask... just to find out what the deal was.

I think sideshow must be running low on these now, they’ve been up for sale for quite some time now.
I should have one by Friday, I’m in the U.K. so I imagine mine will definitely have the brown shipper as that’s all they normally ship them in here.
What did your figure come shipped in?

I got mine from Hong Kong and it came with a shipper. So I'd tend to agree you may have gotten a return.

I get figures shipped via Sideshow from HK sometimes and they are always in a Shipper.

I've gotten Sideshow R2's that were ordered from the Disney Store but then shipped via Sideshow and came with no shipper, but never with Hot Toys. But I have ordered Hot Toys from Hong Kong and don't believe they have the plastic bag (definitely don't have the shipper). If all the plastic wraps were on the figure I wouldn't worry about it.

My HT Punisher came from Sideshow without a shipper. I wasn’t very happy about that.

I just bought this head off of ebay. I didn't do any research into whether or not this would even fit the ANH Han Solo... Apparently it doesn't.

I was going to ask the seller to cancel but figured it's my bad so I'd suck it up.

Anyone looking for a grinning Han head?

It should fit without the neckpost, or together with the Stormie neckpost. I think that's how it is, isn't it? You had to swap both the head and neck posts in order for them to fit?
