You replied to neb saying by their logic they would never want a stormtrooper if they don't want phasma, but they are completely different. Stormtroopers are iconic and perfectly represent the empire/FO. However phasma is underused and underdeveloped as a character so of course you could want one and not the other.

That's really odd. I won one or their giveaways for the SSC Darth Vader last December and had it within a week after paying for shipping.

Emailed them one last time. I may cancel all my preorders and go to BBTS if they don't follow through. I know it's a "giveaway", but this has put a bad taste in my mouth with them.

Yeah that's quite an obvious parallel that I didn't think of to be honest! Fett had little screen time but somehow became a cult fave

TFA version of this figure are springing up on eBay all over the place. Hardly surprising that people want to get rid of her. What a complete waste of a cool looking character. I had such high hopes for her before TFA. They really have F*^ked these ST films up.

Lots of changes, crotch area and arms are the most significant i believe

Personally i love the figure. she looks awesome on the shelf. She's a large figure and all the chrome armor to me looks great!

And yeah, Bossk, Dengar, 4-Lom, IG88, Zuckuss all stood there in 1 scene in Empire and did nothing and everyone loved them. SSC is on like a 2nd wave of producing some of them too. Phasma plays a bigger role than all of them combined and no one seems to like her. I liked her fight in TLJ. I mean, how much do we need to see of her anyway? Its like there is a million other important things happening, we don't really need to see Phasma any more than we did. She wasn't a main character. She was Captain of the Stormtroopers, she was Finn's nemesis, a she was a reason Finn hated the First Order. I think they did enough with her to show that.

The comic book that recently came out about Captain Phasma is pretty cool. I have liked it so far. If you need more Phasma, you can read that.

There's an interview with Rian Johnson saying she's like South Park's Kenny who keeps dying but coming back.
I think it's likely too.
