I'm still liking it. So he looks angrier. Still looks like the actor.

Looking at the pictures on the Facebook page, you can see that it's the same sculpt, and you guys simply chose to post some of the pictures with the worst lighting.

Categorically not the same sculpt. Eyes and mouth bigger, more frown.
They turned him into a generic black man. Pity as proto while not perfect captured the character pretty well.
Concerned about Rey now.

You absolutely know that the first pictures shown will bring about ire and distaste. Just chill until someone on here actually has it in hand. I thought the original sculpt had "crazy pore syndrome" and over detailed skin textures... That picture looks really similar but with some of that toned down and the lighting will effect the shadows of the brow, nose, and mouth. His scowl can be enhanced with more top lighting to give the brows a perceived deeper furrow.

I am keeping my pre-order with riot trooper until I see something truly upsetting. I expect a bit of differences in subtle detail and paint apps... this does not look that far off from what I have seen so far.

... I have Zero interest in this, but I do agree about the new head sculpt... So brings concerns about future products I will be interested in

I'm not seeing the problem, I still think the likeness is there and it looks good.

I like it but I can wait for him. Maybe get him down the road, have a feeling this will be around for a while

This is so disappointing. The proto was flawless. I don't recognize this new sculpt at all. The mouth is totally wrong, but more important they made him pissed off/angry and he never looked like that in the film. It has lost its charm.

I don't know why HT would try to update it. The proto looked 100% Boyega. No one was asking for an update on this I can understand things change during development, but this is completely different product than what I pre ordered. I don't like final product. Have to cancel.

It's the same sculpt,with some different paint app. In the Budget Stark is a very good pissed sculpt of the actor.

I think it does too. It's an excellent likeness and I'm not sure why folks are wanting to cancel.

I'm glad there's some life in his eyes/expression. I'm sure Boyega is ecstatic over it.

The other thing people should keep in mind is this is likely only the first Finn. I'm fairly certain we'll get another one for episode 8 and maybe one for 9 as well. I'm getting this one as I want him with a lightsaber and I doubt he'll have one anymore after this so...

Well, to be accurate, he should be sweaty but honestly, he should also look a bit worried/disturbed.

Well, he seems pretty intense in this still from the movie. I think likeness is good. Can't wait to get it in hand.

This is just my personal opinion, and I don't want to upset anyone, but I'm seeing a caricature of a black man in this rather than the character of Finn as played by John Boyega. The lips are larger, his expression is angry rather than resolute, his face is more thickset, the skin colour is darker than the prototype and the whites of the eyes are more pronounced. HT have done plenty of good sculpts of black actors, and I'm not jumping up and down alleging anything, but that's what I see. Quite happy to be told I'm seeing something that isn't there.

You will have until 2017 spook to pick this one up. I want bloody trooper helmet stormie and that's it. A bit irritating that this one jumped in front of rey/bb8.

I think eyes are too big, needs to be more beady, also lips are wrong shape. Need to be wider and less full.
