We're a specific type of fool though. Other types buy RC cars, purses, too many guitars, etc. Everyone has a little foolishness in them.

How much did the Finn figure go down to during Black Friday discounts a few months ago?

I was intrigued by that deal for the free Flametrooper with the purchase of the Finn/Riot Trooper set, all figures I hadn't necessarily planned on getting. I was still on the fence shortly before the offer ended when I found out they had run out of free figures. Now I'm regretting not getting them. Would have gotten a good amount of rewards points as well.

I only recently started collecting 1/6 figures. Does Sideshow have special offers like this fairly regularly?

No, they usually don’t have offers like that. Although there has been the rare case when they will throw in a random pegwarmer in with your order, nothing you may have particularly wanted. That’s another point: usually any good offers they occasionally have will be for figures most people don’t really want, which is why they’re trying so hard to get rid of them in the first place.

In other words, don't count on any good sales from Sideshow for things you really want. You’re better off hunting for bargains on Ebay or elsewhere.

Right now the best deal on Sideshow is $174.25 shipped for brand new, wonder is that worth jumping on?

I wish their buy 2 get 1 free was for all TFA figures. There are several I would consider if that were the case--Finn, TIE Pilot, Flametrooper, even Phasma. Nobody wants those two-packs though.

Just straight 15% off. If only the Finn set came with a free Phasma, I would totally get that and try to sell off the Riot Trooper.
