Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars Episode VII: Finn 1/6th Collectible Figure

Looks like with the 8 trailer we will finally be getting his pilot look. My thinking was that he would have come out for 7 early, with the opening outfit at a later time since it seemed those scenes were held close to the chest by Disney. But alas we got none.

I'm glad we see the pilot outfit in the trailer and that they didn't change it. I really like the look a lot. I'll take a set with BB-8 please. And I hope it's one of the first figures released for the movie.

Good call. Perfect opportunity to release another (probably better) BB-8.

I see them making a Poe for TLJ, but not another BB-8.

Could be wrong of course because Poe does seem like the likely candidate to include him with, if they don't make him (BB-8) as a lone figure with more detail that is.

Xwing Poe has the most toyetic appeal but any Poe at this point would be welcomed.

Right? I would take all three but I definitely need Poe and Cassian.

It's a little weird Hot Toys hasn't made two prominent Hispanic dudes from the new movies. Poe's got a couple of cool looks, not to mention they could've reused the Finn jacket, and Cassian was the co-lead of Rogue One. Their decision making makes no sense.

It'd also be a boneheaded move for them to skip doing Finn for TLJ because the first figure took so long to sell out.

I think Poe got cut from the production schedule plain and simple. He clearly has the same look as he does in TLJ, so perhaps they chose not to pull another Drax and just make him a front runner for this movie. Plus his presence is rather minor in TFA, so the trade off may be a better selling figure with no overlap.

I hope they release BB-8 again. I don't have the Rey set currently, and it would also give people another chance to get him, whether it be for the first time or to display with the TLJ group.

And along with what DioramaMaker said, making Poe for TLJ would be a two-in-one since it's the same look he had in TFA.

Regarding BB-8, like TonTon said, it'd most likely be a better rendition also. The current one, while still adequate for a 1/6 display, has more of an inaccurate auburn color than the more accurate orange color that he is.

A flight suit Poe would be marvelous.

Regarding BB-8, like TonTon said, it'd most likely be a better rendition also. The current one, while still adequate for a 1/6 display, has more of an inaccurate auburn color than the more accurate orange color that he is.

A flight suit Poe would be marvelous.

That could be the case as it's easy enough for them to do. The current one still does look very nice though. I'd like them to also include the thumbs-up torch, and maybe some additional attachments he might use in TLJ.

The wonderful Poe figure needs to come with at least:
- Black helmet, blaster pistol, gloved and non-gloved hands

It'd be great if they included the blue helmet, maybe as a SS exclusive or something. Also if the flak vest and chest box are removable for the Resistance Base briefing look.

In addition to the new shirt, Finn now has a belt with holster and blaster pistol, along with new pants. The boots now go over his pants too.

Poe has a new jacket and shirt this time around as well. If we get Poe (and we definitely should), I hope it's his X-wing pilot outfit first, then this version.

He looks a lot more "Star Wars" now as opposed to the guy with a bag over the shoulder, he looked like any young guy you'd see in the street. More likely to buy this version of Finn.

I like this new look for him as well. Looking forward to the figure with these updates. And of course Poe as well. I'm gonna keep bringing him up until we get him!

For Rose, if HT were to do a figure of her, I would watch the movie first before I decided. She sounds like she's gonna be a likeable character though.
