Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars Episode VII: Rey 1/6th Collectible Figure

I’m trying to keep it to just Rey/BB8 and Han, but Kylo, Phasma and the troopers (I would only get one) are really tempting me.

So far I haven't bought any 1/6 Star Wars. Rey and Yoda will be my first two... I've been waiting for specific versions of characters.

I haven't been able to convince myself to pull the trigger on this yet. I have a feeling she will have a better look in the next movie and I just don't put her in the same category as Luke meaning I don't think I'll want multiple versions of her on my shelf. Hell, I even preferred her vest look at the end of VII to the rag look she had for most of the movie. I also think a next version of BB8 will be better detailed and possibly diecast and he is a definite one of representation needed on the shelf. Just my two cents and ramblings

I might go the opposite route. Ditch all the troopers and get Ren, Rey, Finn, and Han, then call it quits from TFA.

Thinking about doing the same thing except I might add Chewie and Poe to my list. There are just too many new Troopers to collect from the new film. I feel like with the new films I won't go all in like with the Original Trilogy.

A few of the UK sites have revised the expected delivery date for Rey to September. Although I haven't read anything official from HT anywhere

Bummer. This is my most wanted set from TFA. Loved the character and look.

Everytime a figure I want gets delayed I'm dissappointed but then I think maybe now I can afford something new in the mean time.

I'd consider Poe as well, and of course Jedi Luke, but maybe they'll both have the same or similar looks in VIII and I'll be able to grab them to round out the new trilogy.

I completely forgot about Luke. . I'd get him too but I can see him having a similar look in Episode VIII so I'd consider holding off on him. Not sure if I'd get Leia or not. She was fine in the film but not sure if I need her in figure form.

Does the US usually get stuff around the same time as Europe? I know the Asian markets get it first but i'm not sure about the UK.

I currently only have the Jakku trooper but definitely plan on picking up this Rey w/BB8 set. I "could" stop right there but will most probably pick up Finn/Riot-trooper two-pack as well. Jedi-Master Luke will be another pick-up when he eventually get's done.

Old Han & Chewy will have to "wow" me, as I don't want to go too deep into this trilogy, so early on. I won't settle for a lazy sculpt on these and would pass, if so.

The version of the Guardian T-800 is from earlier in the film where his hair wasn't gray.

Tempted to cancel my Rey and Bb8...l have Kylo and Im not sure is it because he is all on his lonesome but I could take or leave it. On the other hand this set might enhance it. Hard to know and when you have to pay nearly a 100 dollars on import fees these figures are crazy expensive.

Order direct from Hong Kong on ebay and avoid all the chargers. Timcent88 or Loonten toys.

Very little ever gets past the Irish customs....they seem to check everything

Timcent marks it as a gift and under the £15 price to avoid charges for UK customs, not sure the rules for you in Ireland then.

Customs here just open it and ask you to send on a receipt to verify price.... horrible *******'s.
