Someone with some photoshop skills needs to darken the skin tone a bit and dial back the eyeliner. I'd be really curious to see what the head would look like then.

Having not seen the movie (naturally) or any trailers, I am not relating to this character/figure. So I feel nothing from that perspective. But from another perspective the figure depicts a very attractive woman. As a result does make me feel horny!! Her face makes me dream of a life size “adult” doll. Have I said to much??

She is the primary protagonist of the film. So either you will like the character, or you are going to have a really non enjoyable time with this trilogy lol.

I think it's one of their better female sculpts. Waaaayy better than Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, who definitely have oversized heads, blank stares and look like mannequins. The worst has been the Pepper sculpt though, IMO.

From this years HT female releases, I'd say sculpt wise:

Leia > Rey > Scarlet Witch > Black Widow > Pepper Potts

i think gamora is the best!

Gamora should be there up with Rey

Leia and Rey are probably their best because they are sculpting the hair instead of using rooted hair. Their rooted hair always makes the figures look more toylike than sculpted hair does.

But you're not completely out to lunch. The sculpt looks really good in my opinion. Far better than the Pepper Potts I had to pass on. Hope her character kicks some butt in the movie (actually maybe I don't! then I can save some money for a change ;) )

Looks great here... on the figure her jawline looks a bit too square, but here it looks great. Makes me think the people who were concerned about the neck are pobably right.

I do appreciate that her neck looks like it has some definition to it (tendons and what-not) as the female necks tend to be too smooth and cylindrical. But it may need a bit more of a tweak to look right.

Really hope the movie is a revelation so I can go nuts and start buying these figures :lol

Likeness looks very good. We must see final products though.

But why are they sculpting such big heads?

I don't like the extention piece for BB-8's stand. The standard black base mixed with a piece of desert looks weird.

Beauty is distinctive.

Why, who does she look like?

It's just that pic of her looks like a pretty generic ad from a fashion magazine - so to me she looks like a lot of other fashion models.:dunno I was asking because I thought you were being sarcastic but wasn't sure.

"Beauty is distinctive" sounds like a high end soap slogan.:lol

I'm not sure I like Hot Toys taking a page from Sideshow with the diorama add on pieces rather than just a full diorama base. Other than that I like the figure a lot overall.
