I think it's her mid torso that need to be lengthened. A little bit short in that area maybe?

Why can't we for once just get a ****ing head sculpt that looks like the prototype?
Talk about miss selling a product!

I am seriously thinking to cancel this set and try and purchase BB-8 separately!

When do you think we'll see more pics?

Yeah as much as I think this is a (very slight) improvement, it is getting frustrating they way they continually switch up the sculpt at the last minute, long after most of us have already grown attached to the originals and made most of our payments.

Look, is the loss of the teeth texture a bad thing? Yeah, bit strange. But remember what this is going to be, under display lights, in a detolf. You won't know the better honestly. We're all seeing photos that are blown up.

Here are some comparisons between the stock photos of the prototype and the finished sculpt. I tried to match photos as best I could. Obviously the ones with the black background are the finished one. I think it still holds up pretty well, and if anything I might like the final version even better.

The eyes in particular look to be a slightly different shape. A bit less doll like and more human like.

Yeah they definitely seem to have made the head a bit more delicate and feminine, whereas the original seemed a bit too big and square somehow.

All I really think it needs is just to have the eyes lightened up.

I think for me the thing is that these figures are getting more and more expensive yet still failing to live up to the standard of the prototypes!

Her portrait was the weakest part of the prototype. Have you ignored a good lot of the thread where everyone was suggesting improvements? The proto was a base, not a target. Everyone was hoping it would improve, except... you... apparently.

Yeah every picture I've found so far has shown the really dark eyes. I wonder if some in hand photos with some brighter lighting can show us what is really going on there.

Speaking of eyes, does anyone know what color eyes are on this figure because her eyes are hazel (like her father before her).

faststreetsofhongkong, you're prolly asleep, when you wake up, let us know bro.

Thanks faststreets for all the pics.

I think she looks in decent scale with all the other figures except finn. Sculpt looks better than the proto to me. At certain angles under bright light those choppers could be an issue but probably not when posed in a detolf. BB8 looks cool but the orange should be brighter and he should be dirtier. Only have to decide between one rey or two. The price of the single on ebay isn't bad but the BB8 version is pretty inflated.

I agree. And the paint job is better than that from the prototype.

In general, I don't know why people get bent out of shape over final products differing slightly from protoypes. Prototypes of anything are subject to change slightly at the very least. That's expected.

Faststreets pics look way better than plastic enemies. I'm looking forward to seeing her in hand in hopefully a month.

Paint apps look excellent, I would say on par with Leia, which is superb. That was my big concern, and it seems this prod exceeds the proto, especially with skin tone.

Gonna be very happy with this and I got the set for 275 shipped at AE (using a few RP's)

Quigon, can't wait to see YOUR pics, bro.
