Hot Toys isnt a massive company. How many figures do you think they can make at one time? They do the high priority ones first, the main characters, secondary characters later. Poe and Hux arent main characters in this movie. Theyre support characters so theyre gonna have to wait. I would imagine those are 2017 figures.

Luke has pretty thin arms, so I imagine they can manage to get her to work with a light-up saber.
I was planning on buying a Rey, but was curious if they'd do a v2 with the lightsaber. But now since she comes with everything major I can think of from EPVII this figure is a definite purchase.

Only things "missing" (and I put it in quotes because these are far from deal breakers) are an unlit saber hilt and the Stormtrooper rifle that she runs around with on Starkiller base. Both would be pretty easy to give to her from other figures though. She also briefly wears Finn/Poe's jacket (man that coat gets around
) as she and Finn head toward that big ladder outside the base.A vintage X-Wing helmet for Rey would have been a cool touch as well since Luke came with his blast shield training helmet.

You're on crack if you think we won't see them until 2017. You're obviously not familiar with HT. There is ZERO rhyme or reason with their character selection. The only constant is Iron Man.

No. My Cousin's, Girlfriend's, Uncle's, Friend's, Daughter-In-Law's, Neighbour's said that SS will only sell the one with the Saber to people who Preordered before yesterday. Everyone who just jumped on the bandwagon will receive the one without the Saber. Although, anyone who orders from now on will receive an official photocopy of a photograph of the Saber.

As for an unlit hilt, the blade is more than likely removable. That is how all of the other figures with lightsabers work. The only reason the others have come with a separate hilt is because the LED function is built into the arm and the saber hilt is attached. There is no need for a second hilt here because there is no light up function.

wow, I was THIS close to preordering her about an hour ago and then I saw this. I had ultimately stopped because I wanted one with a lightsaber(and no discount for her. I'm saving all my points for Kylo who i'm gonna order in a few more days. Just waiting for a handful more points to become active at sideshow). However, this changes things. I'm now definitely getting her as she has everything I want her to have now. Thinking i'll pull the trigger tomorrow on payday

Glad she's gor a light sabre, but I'm puzzled as to why they wouldn't make it a LED one, especially after the controversy about Rey being treated differently by toy companies from the male leads. Finn gets an LED lightsaber - even though he had his arse handed to him by Kylo Ren - but Rey doesn't?

Wait the Skywalker blade that comes with Finn is LED but the one that comes with Rey isn't? That's weird. Finn got his ass handed to him by Kylo AND the Riot Officer when using that saber, he definitely isn't worthy of the light up feature.
That's right, they confirmed it on FB.
I believe they announced a revised sculpt when they unveiled the new accessories.

Eh I don't care if it isn't lighted. I was planning on displaying her with the lightsaber from ANH Luke, so getting any saber with Rey is just a bonus at this point
