Now I'm confused!

Also I have now found the bill for my Sandtrooper :(
Although it's more accurate, give or take a few pounds from the conversion.

Takes the piss that they charge £12 though just to clear it through customs.

This is correct, by the way... Don't watch if you don't want VIII, IX, spoilers (sorry to disappoint, AIR):

I've always thought it was Kylo that dropped Rey off on Jakku and that he has some kind of connection with her. I still maintain she was just a very gifted student (in the vein of Anakin) at Luke's academy. She may have been the youngest student or tried to befreind Kylo (or do something kind) while he was still there. When the slaughter took place, one of the other Ren Knights tried to kill her and he stopped them and saved her - his light side fighting through.

His impetuousness - or his frustration with his lack abilities (maybe due to Solo blood keeping the Skywalker side in check - the reason he hates Han so much) causes him to fight with Luke and finally leave and seek revenge.

I really don't want her to be Luke's daughter. The first lead female character in SW should be her own person, not just good by way of being the spawn of the last hero. The accent doesn't make sense (it might have had she been left with Lor San Tekka instead of Unkar Plutt). Besides that, now they have to either explain how and who she was born from, introducing another character that may not even be alive. I think they are keeping her name a secret to keep the discussion going.

She was waiting for her family. Not some dude that slaughtered a bunch of students.
She must have been put into hiding by someone related to her. She's likely recognise Ren "YOU?!?!?!?" would have been her reaction when he took off his mask if she already knew him.

We already know Kylo has some mind-READING capabilities, perhaps he wiped her memory of him (and of the whole incident or her early childhood even). Thats likely easier with a child than an adult as well. She was waiting for her "family" but has no recollection of what they looked like? What they're names were? She has obviously had some kind of memory loss/wipe.

I think you are over thinking it.
We will find out soon enough.

Loontentoys it is from now on.

Sooooo... FedEx replied! Didn't even acknowledge any of the points raised about the charges being incorrect and instead just waffled on about how the shipper hadn't ticked a box accepting responsibility of the chargers and blah blah blah...

I know it's wrong anyway because now I have found my Sandtrooper invoice and that's much less!
They're so thick though they cannot understand what I am trying to tell them.

Let me know when you get a reply.

I don't! I definitely think Rey and possibly other members of her family have had a memory wipe.
I think that she had begun Jedi training but to in order to hide her from Snoke she was wiped of her memory and dumped on Jakku in the hope she would never be discovered. That theory would also explain how her force abilities come on so quickly, because they had just been suppressed!

I don't get these people saying that they don't want her to be anyone's daughter, for me, if she isn't, that would be the biggest cop out and let down ever!
Ultimately the Star Wars Saga is the Skywalker storyline, if they want to start telling the story of unrelated characters then create a brand new saga set in a different timeframe. But for now, if you're going to carry on with the episodes then they need to keep the Skywalker Legacy alive!

For me the biggest tell is Maz telling Rey about Luke's saber. Paraphrasing here but "it was Luke's and his father's before him, and now it call out to YOU." Why would a Skywalker family heirloom call out to some random girl with force sensitivity? She has to somehow be related to Luke,IMO.

For me, the biggest indicator that she's likely a Skywalker is when Maz asked Han at the bar, "Who's the girl?" It never showed Han's answer. However, the very next scene was Maz running up to Rey, imploring her to take the lightsaber because it's calling to her to be its next rightful owner, being that it belonged to Luke and "his father before him". Maz apparently knew she possessed a powerful weapon with a lot of history; I don't think she would so easily beg a random girl to take it if she didn't feel that it rightfully belongs to her.

That tells me that whatever Han's response was caused Maz to beg Rey to take the Skywalker saber.

If she is a Kenobi, I would presume neither Maz nor Han would know that the saber was at one time in Obi-Wan's possession.
