I loved it last night, and I still love it today. The price is great on it, but I'm still unsure. I'm really close to biting, but I'm trying to figure out some Hot Toys priorities! :lol We'll have Old Luke and Old Han coming, almost for sure. Then we'll have Rey, Finn and Poe, along with the droids and Phasma. That's a list of definite characters in almost all cases.

I've already got Kylo on order, along with the Stormtrooper two pack. So now it's a question of grabbing this guy as well, for beautiful looking variety! OR, aiming towards more original trilogy items as well, with Obi-Wan and/or Boba Fett. So many choices! :lol

That price is a real surprise. My regular Hong Kong seller is charging more for this than the Snowtroooer.

$180 after a coupon is a great price.

This guy looks so much more Star Wars than the First Order Stormtroopers to me.
My wallet has a rule- no Force Awakens stuff until I've seen the film! This has been the first figure that's been hard to resist though...

I had to do it. I was on the fence about the old tie fighter and I love the look of this one. he almost looks like a shadow trooper. don't miss out

This guy looks just like he did in the private screening I just saw of the film. Except I don't see any photos of the blast shield being able to move. Pass. ;)

Lose those pointless shoulder pads with arm guards and I'll call it "the only good looking new trooper so far".

Other than that, cool looking fig.

Won't commit to anything in TFA line until I see the film. If I don't adore it I won't buy much but I'm sure a character or two will stand out to make me purchase. Ther film wll be good but how good?

I have not collected SW 1/6 scale for a long time, but ALL of these First Order Troops look excellent - best design choices since the original Star Wars films. I like the hybrid of McQuarrie concept mixed with the streamlined elements - this seems like a logical direction in the evolution of SW costume design. I will be picking up all trooper figures with the exception of the slight variants - those slight changes (a shoulder pad, an ammo pack, a different weapon, etc.) seem even worse for the buyers than the Iron Man line.

Agree, best FA trooper design so far. Also agree, no need for a pilot to have useless armor when your in a fighter, look at what modern day pilots wear. OT Tie pilot is the better and more realistic design. :lecture
