Remember, this figure released 3 months after its announcement. I wish they always waited longer to announce figures, makes the waiting game a little more durable. Take the R2-D2 for instance. Why announce it a year in advance?
I messaged him and he said he'd mark it as a gift of lower value.
Just doing a quick Google search I see posts here and other forums saying they've never been charged import when buying from him when using the the EMS shipping. Obviously there is never any guarantee but seems our chances would be good.
Did you order it in the end from him?
Well, now i have to wait at least five months to be able to get hands on it here in Europe.
I have several pre-orders I'll be waiting ages on to. It seems now getting them from Hong Kong might be both the quickest and cheapest way of getting them for us European collectors.
Not yet but I will do very soon. The listing still has 12 days at that price and with 8 figures left I can wait a few more days. With EMS shipping it comes to around £210 and a good probability of avoiding the import tax. He should have the figures mid February ish, a little before SS get their stock.
A lot of the high profile YT reviewers get their figures a day or two after release through Budget Start but I've no idea if he sources figures for riff raff like us or at what price. I just noticed in Dean's video above he's away on business now anyway.
That's probably the cheapest we could get it for and the fastest - my only concern is if we do get a surprise import charge, and if there's any damage how easy they are to deal with replacements etc. I don't think they come in a shipping box also straight from Hong Kong
Loonten ships figures out around 1.5 months after the SB release. I've ordered multiple figures and have never been hit by customs.
Dean put up an unboxing video on this guy. Still looks fantastic he said a review will be coming tomorrow so looking forward to it.
That's the funny thing about these figures - they're so much better than Leto's performance.
But not the purple one, because that head just looks effeminate rather than creepy or dangerous.
This figure in particular is giving me a Bela Lugosi vibe.

Yes, that timeless look is why I like this version so much better than the others. It should still look good in 20 years, assuming the materials used don't degrade to badly. I might never like this Joker on screen, time will tell, but a display of this DCEU would feel incomplete without him. I'll pose him with Harley when she gets here.
The AA version is superb for that specific scene but doesn't give you enough display options for it's price tag IMO.
The purple coat version I just couldn't stand to have the rest of that hideous outfit on my shelf. I'm glad for those that like it but it's just not for me.
