That's the funny thing about these figures - they're so much better than Leto's performance.

But not the purple one, because that head just looks effeminate rather than creepy or dangerous.

This figure in particular is giving me a Bela Lugosi vibe.

I had no plans to buy this figure, but after seeing these videos, I think I'm going to cave. I only need one Leto Joker and I think this will be the one.

I'm with you. Wasn't planing to pick this up at all but damn he looks good in the reviews!

Dean's just put his review up.

Like me it seems he's not a fan of the movie of Leto's Joker but this figure looks too good to skip.

I am debating between tuxedo version and purple coat version. I like the purple coat more visually (with tattoos) but the tuxedo one was actually in the movie. Is the purple coat version in the extended cut maybe or was it ditched altogether?

Purple coat was in the movie. When Joker and his goons assault the facility with the neck bombs, he his wearing this.

The only HT Leto Joker not in the movie is the Batman Imposter version

Did you guys see that picture Kato posted of this figure with a Ledger Jacket? it looks awesome like that, I really want to find a Ledger jacket now to display him with, lol.

Never saw the movie and have no plans to, I've seen Leto's parts online and they're okay. I agree with you that this video really makes me want this figure and I've had nothing but dislike for the design, until now. Do they imply in the movie that Batman has knocked out Joker's teeth, explaining the grill, or was that just this guy's take? I actually like that explanation! Wow. Great review, puts this in a whole new light for me. :clap

It's not in the movie, but it's official explanation from the director. After Joker killed the Robin, Bats got rage. That's why Joker mark himself with tattoo "damaged".

Given how Batman was portrayed in BVS, especially how he was so easily prepared to murder Superman, it seems unlikely he'd have let Joker live for killing Robin and presumably countless others. He gunned down faceless bad guys with impunity from his batwing but the guy who murdered his partner and friend just got his teeth knocked out. :dunno

Murder of Robin was the trigger of his attitude which you can see in BvS. He wasn't that before or in that time (yet). Angry and violent Bats killing foes without a blink comes later.

Having a plan to stop Superman if he goes rogue, as Batman does for all league members in Justice League Doom for example, is one thing. Flat out killing him just on the off chance he turns bad is something entirely different. Also the world's greatest detective shouldn't be so easily manipulated by Lex.

I still enjoy BVS btw but that is one bugbear for me. Robins death may have been a trigger but it's more likely someone capable of such rage would have killed Joker in the heat of the moment.

The two acts don't square up. Maybe one of the issues with multiple directors across a shared universe.

still think head looks too small in some pics and vids i see but really warming up to this. i also like the fact that i could put the SS comic head on this bod and it may work etc
