Not really. I imagine there are a lot of people who would prefer an X-suit Wolverine, as well as a more accurate likeness of Hugh Jackman. I can't imagine it not bringing the value down some on it, and if not, the next Wolverine figure from the new movie will probably have an affect. I mean, he won't be so hot anymore since there will be more options.

I would bet there are just as many people that prefer wolverine in his casual wear (myself included) as there are those that prefer his X-suit. And as far as the likeness...that's TBD, but the expression is clearly different, which will mean that some will still prefer the Origins sculpt. Now "The Wolverine" figure will most likely be a different story...

True, true. I think it will still have an affect, even if it's just a $25 change in value. Who knows. Only time will tell. I'd love it if Hot Toys did two head sculpts for this version though. It also gives me a figure to use my new bone claw hands on.

Even though X2 was FAR, FAR better than X3, if they decide to do several figures, we could still get some cool choices.

Just so everyone is aware, HT announced several years ago they have an entire Marvel films license. Not just Marvel Studios, but EVERY Marvel flim made, so X-men was already included. The timing is the only thing strange. They've seen how much Wolverine is going for on ebay
