I think HT should have released the Blade 3 version alongside Whistler. Blade would have sold, and folks would have bought Whistler as a companion piece. Not sure what their strategy is with this set of licenses.

I would purchase a Blade 1 in a heartbeat.

Not so much Blade 3.

Therefore Blade 2 was a very nice compromise for me.

Why Abigail was even released before papa Whistler or Nomak is another HT mystery.

I guess chicks sell.

The movie Blade 3 sucked, of course, but I think folks would have bought the Blade figure from it because it was Blade. Same way that Wolverine: Origins and Ghost Rider both sucked but yielded successful figure releases. As would Fantastic Four, I would wager.

I actually like the Blade 2 design the best, so I'm glad HT went this route.

For me, in movie and design, they match.

As much as Blade 3 does suck, there's actually some enjoyable parts in it.

If anyone has a Blade to sell drop me a PM. Blade, Leonides and Rocky set are next on my list as I play HT catch up over the next few months. Just watching the sale threads looking for a decent deal. Either that or HT will announce a re-release of Blade 1.
