I think HT should have released the Blade 3 version alongside Whistler. Blade would have sold, and folks would have bought Whistler as a companion piece. Not sure what their strategy is with this set of licenses.
The movie Blade 3 sucked, of course, but I think folks would have bought the Blade figure from it because it was Blade. Same way that Wolverine: Origins and Ghost Rider both sucked but yielded successful figure releases. As would Fantastic Four, I would wager.
I actually like the Blade 2 design the best, so I'm glad HT went this route.
As much as Blade 3 does suck, there's actually some enjoyable parts in it.
Blade 2 was my favorite so I was happy with HT making the Blade 2 version.
