I'm with you there Darth, The eyes and the gun are like the wow factor to me and looking robotic gives it that cool factor.

I've had this guy twice. Now I'm building him up little by little. Yeah....holds a special place with me. One of my first Hot Toys.

Totally but it'd be alot of work for them to do ............. they could pull off a "Predator" like technique but you'd pay alot of it. Plus having it on the gun wouldn't work to smooth, you'd need to plug in the gun into some wired device hidden in or around his arm. Just can't see it.

Plus, customs are a like a unique, lone piece of art. As nice as the HT figures are, they're mass produced stuff that look the same over thousands produced. You can customize it when you get it, but essentially, everyone that owns it has the same thing. Owning a fully custom made figure gives you a chance to own something totally unique that no one else has.

This statement is valid only if the custom is wayyy better than HT's attempt. e.g. bobbyc's joker and adam's joker. Other than that, why would anyone bother with a custom thats obsolete compared to HT's

Light up features are unnecessary with Hot Toys figures, IMO. I might turn it on 2 or 3 times, and that's it. It isn't like people leave it lit up on the display indefinitely. Kind of neat I guess, but ultimately pretty pointless. And then they do stuff like the transparent flames on Ghostrider and it looks really cheap and Hasbro-ish, IMO. Painted flames would look so much cooler. I say, just stick with making the toy look good, and leave all the gimmicks at the door.

Dude, in all seriousness, you know a BD T2 T-800 is coming. It just makes more sense to space out the more similar releases. That's why the Tech Noir is coming before Police Assault T-800. Since they have the rights, I suspect they are gonna milk this license something fierce. To get basically 2 Sarah Connors from T2 but only one T-800 would be absurd.

Could you not actually use the grey shirt and jacket from T2 Arnie to make a Police Shootout look. Is the jacket any differant? The Sunglasses would be hard to replace tho.

There's just one thing I never understood about the Tech Noir look... what's he wearing under the coat? They look almost like PJ's.
