Hot Toys - MMS136 - The Terminator: 1/6th scale T800 Collectible Figure (T1)

I know this is mixing apples and oranges but if Hot Toys doesn't do a police shoot-out T-800, although I'll be greatly disappointed, it wouldn't be the end of the world for me. We know a police shoot-out T-800 is definitely coming from NECA soon. To me, it's most important to have a some figure from my favorite movie than no figure at all. Except when a crappy company like Playmates or Mattel does movie figures, of course. Basically, it's Hot Toys & NECA for me only when it come to movie-related figures.

I'm definitely hoping for a BD T2

I'm hoping for Police Shootout, T1 BD and T2 BD. For me, the clean biker looks for both films are classic visuals that I want in my collection, and I also really love the presentation of the damage in both films, though I like T2 most of the 2 BD looks.

Sideshow has December as their date to start shipping. Any idea when they might actually start shipping this figure? I am thinking it will be late January.

They could ship late December, we could get a 10-15 day notice this week, but, it's more likely sometime in January, shouldn't be any later than that though.

Well thank you I am a huge Terminator fan as well, so it shouldn't be wrong. However biased they are though, I'll take it all into consideration, as I'm kinda biased about Terminator as well...

There are TONS of Predators out there, but there's only one TERMINATOR.

Go with the Terminator.

And this sums it up I guess.

Both series are pretty awesome. I just got a P1, and it is fantastic. The Terminator figures are spot on. I would have to say that the current T2 and Salvation figures beat the older predator figures for accuracy, but I like the predator figures more. Once I get the T1 Terminator, I might change my mind.

Word, totally. need both looks also and I´ll sell my NECA T2 figs for them and will not get NECA T1 figs either.
Why should I anyway, HT ftw.

Unfortunately, there's only 2 figures really to make of the T-800 and 5 heads they could do, so of those 5, the missing eyebrows head is the weakest and best candidate to cut from production.

Well. I am not waiting for HT or Toyworld... I ordered a BD head, cargo pants and boots to go with this piece I have been putting together. I have a Michael Jackson DX stand with "The Terminator" logo where the old nameplate was, a T2 body, grey Tee shirt and Jacket, and a custom made Armalite, the obligatory Spas shotgun... and a chrome Smith and Wesson model 15 (he uses it briefly when in pursuit on the bike near the end).
I have also added an LED for the eye which I am boring out and adding a custom sculpted endo eye (... it looks much better in real life, my camera is a puny 3.2 mega pixels so close up looks fuzzy).
I will post pics when finished.

where did you get the cargo pants and boots? i may do this as well rather than buy another figure to display bd head.
