Hot Toys - MMS136 - The Terminator: 1/6th scale T800 Collectible Figure (T1)

I didn't really like the movies, but I love the latest Iron Man figs. The T-1 and T-2 line are in a category all of their own as far as I'm concerned, they've been something I've wanted for a long time and I don't think any other figures have given me as much of a thrill when I opened them up. It's been a really great year to be a Terminator fan.

I was eyeing up that Mark IV for awhile - theres major buzz about that one, it seems like its going to be the 'P2 Elder' of the Iron Man line.

But T1 is T1. Proper figures from it at long last.

So essentially, by putting your T2 jacket on this guy, all except the glasses, we have the police shoot out version.

HT should've included the shades with this one!

I wouldnt put the T2 jacket on him because its a different jacket.
You would also need a grey vest/t-shirt, a SPAS-12 shotty, AR-180 assault rifle, new headsculpt(or clean the blood from the T1 BD head)
black gloves, and of course the gargoyle sunglasses.

It makes more sense to release a separate figure.
If HTs dont make it happen, they I will NEVER understand them.

To be truly accurrate, you need more than sunglasses and a jacket. You need alternate weapons, grey tshirt, jacket, glasses, headsculpt with exposed Endo eye.

If anything, HT could combine Police and BD into a single release.

I guess what I am trying to say that aside from the exposed eye, HT could've included a few small extras to make the scene! We get a spare gray shirt with T800.

They could put the exposed Endo eye head with Reese. For the sake of a gun and shades like ya know?!
Though nobody wants a jacketless T2 I suppose!

I'm fine with how they're accessorizing the T-800s IF they make all the looks so we get all of the pieces.

Too much money to be made with Police Assault being released by himself. And as Maulfan said, not many collectors would be happy with only the extra head and glasses. Really, the only similarities between that look and Tech Noir are the pants and boots.

Well in that case the DX better have two light up heads!
One for police station and one very badly damaged on like the truck chase!

I'm trying to think what else a DX would have?

I'm not sure how much more damaged his clothes were after he got run over and shot up a bit, but a different set of clothes to go with the beat up head would be excellent, and would force me to buy two of them (probably gonna buy two anyway, so, it would force me to buy three).

It'd be nice if the eyebrowless, both human eyes intact head could come with Reese or a T1 Sarah to really finish out the T1 T-800. OR make the last T-800 a DX and dare I say provide 3 heads in one package.

Agreed. That headsculpt would HAVE to have PERS too.

Agreed. DX is only needed for shifty eye characters. Would have made most sense with Tech Noir, but alas. . .

What you have said is correct. But PERS is DX. And I guess you can't put a PERS T-800 headsculpt with a Kyle Reese figure, thus we'd be asking for 3 heads with the police shootout T-800 for definite...and obviously asking that he be a DX. Well, I don't see why not if we really want at least one T-800 with PERS...which I do.

I do not need a 100 % t1 modell. I do my own, for me, its okay.

i searched ebay for an accurate jacket, but i found no one. the t2 jacket is the best an similar! saturdaytoys jacket is totaly wrong.

the grey shirt from the t2 fits to.

i bought a spas shotgun and an aoshima endo for the ar-180.

stand, pants and boots from t1. gloves from the bankrobberjoker. maybe i use my blade gloves...

problem, i found no glasses.

the body i take from chris redfield (i will airbrush it next year with another skintone).

this is just a pre-picture, because the most part are not here (i think, next year).

if hot toys makes a shootout version, i use the parts for my normal t1 (release in europe jan. or feb. 2011).

The saturday toys jacket is the exact same jacket that comes with the hot toys MMS02 T1 T800 figure.
The hot toys T2 jacket is totally wrong.

hmmm...ive never seen those saturday toys jackets before.
they look kind of cheap/fake to me(especially the 1st one)...maybe its just the pictures?
saturday toys are usually top quality.
the hot toys T2 jacket does make a great alternative if youre not too fussed about accuracy.

those set is very expensive. in germany we must pay custom fees
+ 20 %

maybe they´ll sell only the jacket, i will ask them.
