Amazing figure. Got this today and hopefully get pics up tomorrow once my fiancée stops hogging the computer. The head sculpt is impressive for sure but the tailoring on the jacket is what has blown me away with this.

I have a feeling Reese will happen soon,the Batman 1989 movie license was just announced and it seems like the only reason they held back for so long was the likeness rights of Jack Nicholson,you think the same goes for Reese and why HT didn't go deeper into the Terminator franchise before now?T1 T-800 is out and HT knows that he will be lonely on the shelf without Reese.

Well this might be a contentious issue. I recall a story on OSW where a member had brought either his Reese or Hicks figure to a convention to get Biehn to sign it. On seeing the figure he said that he had never seen it before but duely signed it for him.
If you recall, the first ever MMS figure was the T-800 and they failed to get Arnold's likeness permission. I have a funny feeling that to avoid having to alter their sculpt for Reese they just went ahead and released it without seeking the likeness rights. I just hope this isn't what happened as Biehn may not take too kindly to someone not getting permission for his likeness.

Yeah I remember this too. I don't remember where I read this but I also recall Biehn being less than enthusiastic about likeness rights, being along the lines of they rip you off. That said I think if the price is right hopefully it'll happen. A Reese figure is one of my grails and was hoping to hear somethings from the Hot Toys show. I'm not even sure if this has been semi announced by Hot Toys a figure. Anyone care to shed some light?

$exual!! What a figure. Please let it be that I have it before January is over.

Nothing new on the Terminator front at the Tokyo show though. Disappointing that the uncertainty continues about whether or not T2 is done or even if there'll be more T1 figures. I can't see there not being but it would have been nice to be able to put any doubt out of our minds.

Chromed T1 Endo and present-time Kyle Reese FTW! Reason I say this is because while HT has a habit of doing variants, they don't really go back and straight-up remake previous figures. If we're getting a Reese, it's not gonna be the Future War version. That's fine, since the trench-coated Kyle looks better on display with Arnie anyway :D.

:exactly::goodpost:
But I hope they "break the rule" by redoing the police station shootout T-800 again, this time with Arnies likeness of course.

That's pretty likely. The old one was battle-damaged and didn't have a face or all the guns used in that scene. It wouldn't technically count as remaking something.
